Last Friday I won $2241 playing 1/2 NL with a $200 max buy-in over six hours. Some notable hands follow.

H1:
I am dealt 99 in EP, a station limps, I limp, a couple more limps and LP raises to $7, all limpers call and five to the flop of AK9r. It checks to me, I bet $25, a drunk calls, a nit calls, pre folds, and the station calls. Turn A, I bet $100, everyone calls! River J, I ship, drunk folds, nit folds AQ face up with $150 behind for the $800 in the pot (???), station calls for his last $5 with A7. Ship it!

H2:
I am dealt 77, call the $5 straddle, drunk raises to $21, three callers, I shove, drunk calls off his last $70, field folds. My 77 holds up to drunk's 74o.

H3:
I am dealt TT, limp, drunk raises to $30, LAG in BB 3! AI to $106, I flat, drunk flats. I shove in the dark , drunk calls with 44 after seeing a J55 flop, my TT holds against 44 and LAG's 99. Questionable flat and dark shove, but I thought it the best way to keep drunk calling light. He might have stacked of regardless of what I did.

H4:
$7 straddle, a couple calls including a huge station, I raise 99 in the BB to $40, straddle shoves $127, station calls, I shove for station's last $300 or so, station calls with 65s, straddle had AKs. A on the river but I win the side pot.

H5:
Trips top kicker AI on the turn against two flush draws and TP, I hold.

After six hours I had about $2300 in front of me:

After the other deep stack left ($600), I said I was leaving as well, but a friendly reg reminded me that I could get cards for free while I rack up. I won another hundred or so in my next three hands before the BB.
Cashing out $2441, in for $200, over 11 buy-ins ahead:

Check your pics, they're broken here

Amazing work!

Some thoughts;
That nit folding AQ, wtf? Either he went full ****** or he has some serious reads on hero...?

Howcome you limp so much pre with PP's?

I have no idea how the nit folded AQ there, but nits will nit I guess. He tanked for 5 minutes and asked me the cliche'd "do you want a call" BS while I stared forward blankly.

This drunk was a reg who open raises larger and wider the drunker he gets, but rarely 3! and it was late enough in the night that he was pretty drunk. My intention with 77, 99 and TT hands was to l/rr as a squeeze/isolation play against the drunk unless action got crazy.

Also, images are fixed. I used the wrong url.

10 black $100 chips on top in the first image.

Ah yes! Usually that works from what I've seen with the drunkards

Just thought I'd add another reason for keeping your player card out.

Sometimes you get logged out of the system by accident. If this happens, it's possible nobody notices, possibly for a long time . But if a dealer sees you not logged in and sees your card sitting right there, he'll definitely notice and get you logged back in right away.

So I generally consider my player card to be something that belongs on the table, and then I don;t have to retrieve it from my pocket to order food, or if I change to tables, etc.

Not sure about Arizona but yeah. Guy bets pot for 150 on flop, next guy raises to 650 and I reraise max to 1150, etc.

Never played a pink chip game

You need to stack better though. You are playing half stud and the 5 seat won't be able to see 3 or 4 seats cards.

Great game, wish there was a kill to 12.50/25, kinda like half kill on the 8/16 O8 at The Orleans.

And they were stacked like that cause seat 3 was open, I was 4.

Is it just me or is that table absurdly small?

Here's a recent stack...

It's a Holdem table but I'm comfortably sitting in seat 4 into seat 5's "area", it's just the angle the pic was taken

Reviving the thread with more big, dumb limit. In for 15, out for 39 (added a little more post picture).

This is really just a sick brag post. Not for the stacks, but for my friends, who are better than yours. This card protector is a sweet secret santa gift, isn't it?

I figured I'd mix up this thread with a different looking chip stack - a PokerPro stack

Kinda lacks the punch of a big ol' stack. Hard to riffle, too.

I've actually seen people bring their own chips just to be able to rifle while playing. Seems dumb but i guess if youre a fidgety person, maybe it helps?

I used to shuffle chips from time to time when playing online so I could see it happening. Difference is the chips were just some chips from a home game set and were already there and I did not have to consciously decide to bring them with me anywhere.

Wouldn't having chips be somewhat common? It's a casino, a player might play blackjack for a while, then come over for some poker, then take those chips over to pai gow or whatever...no?
