one thing i want everyone to take away from the hu match: it illustrates perfectly just how stupid "all-in ev" graphs are in determining if someone is running good/bad

How sick is it that Laak had AK vs AA preflop in a game that I'm sure he wasn't even close to rolled for? He's obv just playing this high for tv time, he took that punch to the stomach really well. I don't see how he could have played it any differently.

I get sick when I lose a 50NL buyin to AK vs AA preflop...it's basically the grossest situation in all of hold 'em.

Didn't they had multiple episodes of a full ring game in 2008 and 2007?
I love the PLO introduction, like to see more of that in american broadcasts

They didn't play nearly as many hands as in the previous years. It was only six handed, and when Laak quit the game probably broke up completely.

loved this line. along with the "nice call, i mean raise, or reraise." Good to see PA showing some personality. Its kinda amazing how much better PA and Durrrr are then the rest of the table.

Is this standard deep stack play by durrrr? Not a single raise or reraise, the kind of plays you expect from durrrr. Played very tight, maybe he thinks that's the best plan against PA this deep

I wonder how many times durrrr creamed himself watching this. (that's excluding all the one on one time w Patrick Antonious)

He had to have walked away from the session second guessing and then he watches this episode and realizes he made every correct decision (except the value/block bet fold line in the nut straight hand).
