No. You can withdraw any amount. the deposit is simply to tie your skrill account to your global account forever, and to make sure it's not in use by anyone else.

Did global just crash for anyone else? I’m disconnected right now.

Yeah it crashed super hard for me for about 2-3 min. Couldn't connect to servers on any device. Lucky I wasn't in any big hands or cash games.

I'm not sure it's ever happened to me before - but actually pretty worrisome.

That’s odd, looks like it only happened to a few people , looks like all the games were running when I got back online. Checked my HH seems like I didn’t lose any money. I’m sure it was just a rare occurrence.

everyone got disconnected. when i was finally able to log back in, all my tables loaded, and most of the players were sitting out/disconnected.

I just started back up at Global and made my 1st payout request. Lat time I did was about a year ago and I had money in my account in around 4 days.

Now, they're saying it could be 5 days to approve and then another 5 days to post to account

Is this accurate?

Thanks!

They say that, but 4 business days from when you click redeem prize is what i usually see
09-21-2019 , 09:51 AM
No - Global legitimately takes longer to make financial transactions than any other business in legal operation here in 2019.

I requested a payout 4 days ago and it's still *pending*. That's unacceptable to me and I'm entitled to feel that way and just refuse to play here. Since I've requested the withdrawal, they (Global) have sent me at least 4 different gift options to try and get me to put money back on the site. Things like pay $20 and get $60, etc. With payouts taking that long, and the site injecting money into it's own player pool, obviously this place is on it's way out.

Instead of sending me surveys asking me why nobody plays here anymore, I'd really rather just get my money. I don't play here anymore and won't play here anymore.

4+ days since my last payout was requested and nothing has moved yet. Absolutely no reasonable excuse for that. No financial transaction known to man in 2019 takes longer than a withdrawal from Global. Then, after I request the withdrawal, Global does two things, neither of which include sending me my money:

1) They offer me deals like put $20 on the site and they'll give me $60. Doing *anything* they can to get me to put money back on the site. Global - With your suspect RNG and longest payouts known to man, there's nothing you could do to get me to put another penny on the site. The 1996 style software, no huds, no hand histories, etc - it all just seals the deal. Global's a no go for me and many others approaching 2020.

2) They send a survey basically crying about how their volume has dropped off the table and wondering why - once again offering a "$100 Amazon Gift Voucher" if I take an online interview explaining to them why they're going out of business. I'll absolutely make sure I detail to them extensively why virtually nobody plays here or deposits here anymore.

Not making payouts in a timely fashion, injecting "free money" into their own playerbase like they're the FED, possessing the worst software in the history of online poker. I mean - they're well aware of all of this. Kind of surprised to see them surprised that they're going out of business.

4+ days is unacceptable. Money should be sent within 24 hours, tops, like every other site in 2019.

You will probably get the money monday i would guess.

Ive done nearly 50 cashouts and always gotten the money. With how much they charge in rake it is not suprising that they can give $60 for $20. There have been times where i have emptied my account and stopped playing for a week+ and they gave me $300 for $150 and $100 for $20. Another time they had a $10 for $2 promo and i redeemed it 11 times before my card blocked the transaction. You can look up their financial statemwnts because they are publicly traded and i would guess it would show a very healthy company. The longest i have waited(after verifying my account) was from saturday at 1am to friday morning.

I wish we still had full tilt and could get withdrawals in 4 hours, but we dont. 5 days isnt a crazy amount of time to me. Thats 1-2 days for global, 1-2 days for world pay, and 1-2 days for your bank.

Sorry if it feels like im putting you on blast or shilling. Global is a publicly traded company and keeps player funds segregated from cash balance per their TOS. Between global and their casino business they make so much money that it is a little paranoid to think you wont be paid out. Maybe the guy(s) processing withdrawals were out sick or on vacation so its taking longer, idk. I wouldnt sweat it unless its been like 2 weeks though

I play on GP almost every day, and I haven't had any trouble finding games. What are you talking about?

The bolded might be true for Bitcoin, but I'd be surprised if that's true for a transfer into your bank account.

Anyone have a similar issue? Have you received your Money yet? I'm in the State of Washington. I received an email from Global back in July. I play "infrequently" (a few times every couple of months, not often) and learned on August 29th that I need to cash out, that I can't play on Global anymore. Sent them the info that they requested to do a "manual" (that's what they called it) "redemption" (yeah, it's a "cash out" but in the "game" that they play they need to pretend it's something else!). Also, it's only slightly more than $100, not much. Emailed back and forth with Global, sent them info they needed to make the redemption happen, the usual information they need. They responded back they have all they need to make the "redemption" happen. So I waited. September 11th sent them another email asking where my money is, they responded that it's still in process for a "manual redemption". Now it's September 22, still no money. Any thoughts??

My thought is that GP can be pretty slow and incompetent sometimes. I suspect you'll get your money in time to buy a nice Christmas tree.

I know from the past that we all will get our money - It's just slower here than anywhere else in online poker today. For Global to *know* this (they do) and then send us surveys asking why nobody likes their site, while we wait for weeks on our money, is just laughable.

There is no financial transaction like this anywhere in 2019 that takes this long. None. People have enormous loans approved and paid for quicker than Global can process a small withdrawal. That's sheer incompetence and it absolutely should hurt their bottom line terribly until they get with the program like all of their competition.

For the record: I'm still waiting, too.

Got "Redemption Approved" email 4 days after submission, with 3 more days of cricketsong after that (thus far). I'm not amused.

This is the longest I've waited for a cashout to be approved (since Saturday 9/21). Pretty annoyed. I expect to get it soon though.

req sept 18
app sept 24

It's slower than the industry standard sometimes. Usually 4-5 calendar days for me which is no problem.

There has been a major slow down with withdrawals. I used to request a withdrawal before bed and most often it was approved before I woke up (as soon as a few months ago). My last two withdrawals took 5 and 6 business days just to get initial "approval" from Global. That is the ridiculous part. The 3-4 business days until it hits my bank after approval is normal.

Interesting. Have noticed a definite delay in approval time but from approval to in bank has almost always been 1-2 business days. Must vary bank to bank. Also if you look at cashout thread you'll see approval times don't always line up queue style, meaning someone's might take 3 days where another person's take 5.

I think the paranoia runs deep especially on US sites, but hopefully this is not a where there's smoke there's fire situation.
