Mine worked for 1-2 days and I am now getting refused again. I emailed support and will let you know if I get an answer.

This may give us hope that it is a technical problem and not worldpay refusing it.

Donked it away playing .02/.04PLO pretty quick, and decided to buy more gold coins, but got refused like other people in this thread. It was a little frustrating, but whatever, it was time for bed anyways.

Two days later I am paying to get my car inspected, and my card gets refused. I noticed that at the car dealership, the card swiper said "WorldPay" on the side of it. I went to go get some cash, because my card should be good. Nope. Turns out it had been blocked for suspected fraudulent activity.

Who knows though, maybe they were suspicious about my BlueApron purchases.
Call your bank. I've had several cards frozen after trying to buy various items online that triggered their fraud department to locked up. For my 'conveinence', they did not come tact me but waited until I called them to find out what happened.

Since the removal of Paypal as a paymente processor, Canadians have been experiencing massive delays in cashouts. Im hoping that we can consolidate the canadian players and cashout requests into one thread and hopefully be able to resolve this issue moving forward.

It is my understanding that US cashouts are going forward like normal, with timeframes of 2-5 days from Cashout > $ Hitting the bank, yet Canadians are experiencing 3-8 week delays.

@Kimber @Joey

Are we able to get a statement about what is going on here?
We appreciate all the help you guys provide, and I humbly ask you guys to take a look into this matter as well.

Its just unacceptable. From what I've seen most delays are from Canada. I'm from US and still having a long long delay with no update.
They have to at least try to make a conscious effort to solve this issue once and for all.

then i don't understand why they were giving out 10$ deposit for 15$ and 100$ for 110$ bonus deals like 3 weeks straight leading up to this.
people were already having cash out problems.

Alright. So I’ve been having the same issue since Tuesday. Tried 3 different cards and they were all “REFUSED” with none of them having any record of the purchases being attempted.

I just tried doing a $1 purchase and it’s still not going through two days later.

I assumed the issue would be corrected by now as there’s also a few high profile players unable to deposit.

So has anyone heard back from global with a non generic response?

Kind of annoyed as I do actually like Global Poker quite a lot.

The site's making a ton of money. It's good they were offering deposit bonuses. It was a matter of when they'd have payment processor issues.

Tried depositing a dollar just now as a test; didn't work. Need to introduce crypto.

i just did another 1$ worth of gold coins purchase after seeing today's feedback from others and it went thru with my AMEX Serve prepaid card again. Very strange circumstances overall, even more so is that the card i used is only supposed to be good for online purchases from USA based companies/processors. Im not real excited about playing or depositing a reasonable amount seeing that so many others are having problems with depo's and wd's even though both are working fine for me as of this posting, what a mess.

edit - no to crypto, im with robertUtk on this one

I have read a lot of your posts and i'm sure you're pretty smart but debit cards do not offer the same purchase/theft protection as credit cards. Just in case something ever happened. I hope it is an account that doesn't have a large balance.

Made a $100 purchase yesterday with a visa. Money was in my account instantly.

Not sure how all of yours is going through and mine still won't. Oh well...

I still cannot buy, do not have any idea if global is stopping certain accounts from purchasing or if only certain cards are now working. The card that worked previously now does not work.

This feels so sketchy......ugh

Can we please get an update on this fiasco?

Kind of true. While credit cards do offer these protections, and debit cards aren't required to do so, but many debit cards offer those protections in order to compete in the market. Check with your bank for all of those glorious details.

However I do agree, not ALL debit cards offer fraud protection. Really depends on the bank.

Would be nice to know which cards work for what players. Do not really want to have to grind up a high balance on the site and having to keep it their in fear of busting my sweeps cash.

haha jaredpoker 50 tabling busto can't rebuy. now we dont have to wait the full timebank for every preflop fold you make.

There is an obvious issue with payments right now can you keep those comments to yourself maybe? Guess you will not care until the fish well dries up.

I did. Got unforzen, then tried to buy gold coins on Global again. Card immediately got blocked after getting refused by Global. I think I kind of done with this site. Got me to clean up the old poker room in the basement. Now I have to get some real life friends again. Uggh.

This is a legitimate concern for players as well as the site itself. Hopefully we can learn if the problem is banks and Worldpay or something on Global’s end.

Lets get some feedback in this thread of successful deposits. If you have deposited successfully in the past week, tell us the type of card used, the amount, and if there was any holds or verification needed with your card issuer.

If we find a card and method that works reliably we can at least help the forum members who are willing to take those steps.

It may also be relevant which states the people who cannot seem to deposit are located in.
If, for instance, Worldpay was not accepting deposits from MD and/or NY, that would be very troubling.
