Speaking of probability, what are the odds that a thread where people try to explain/prove advanced statistics to somebody who doesn’t believe that 1 in 13 has the same chances as 4 in 52 (because 4 is bigger than 1) can reach 1000 posts?

Ok, on this one, we have finally swapped from red to black and the first test is the winner. I do not think it is 1/2 but it is swapping so therefore I stand
down and concede that I am wrong after all this time.

While the OP will obsess about this for many more years to come, the rest of the posters are pretty much at the end game with him. However, he may very well post 100+ spam posts of the detailed deal like the above, and then cherry pick specific results (which of course will happen just due to the math of the situation) to conclude there is some form of non-existent bias in his mind that he did not see beforehand. He is in the end a creature of habit, even with his confusing concession post. Good chance he will find something new to be worried about pretty soon, or else he will just start again on a new forum.

Even with all of that - I will cautiously take the under.

I stand down and concede that I am wrong after all this time, If for all these years somebody had kindly tested this, like somebody has now, then I have the results to see it myself.

Test {b} 1/2 chance it will have more under's than test {a}

The only test that as not been done is to test the amount of something in y .

But I have to back off , the ban is coming if I don't. I would not dare to mention burn cards in a new thread.

I am confident online poker is broke in some way compared to live. I think we can visually see it when we are playing, but the maths always seem to add up.

The results of the test show one particular thing is not broke, it does not conclusively show it is not broke.

Can we look for possibilities of how it could be broke?

Put all our minds together and find the reason.

I suspect your mind will be left alone for the most part moving forward, but as a parting gift to help you on you obsessive way (you had your moment, enjoy that it happened, but now it is gone), I will present something for you to collectively think about and test as you see fit.

I don't see anything that is an issue. Perhaps if they burned a card beforehand (you can give some details as to why that would matter when talking to yourself in future). As well, I noticed that 15 of the 20 hands had an odd number as the last digit , and I was sitting on an odd numbered table, and today is the 11th, and 15 hands - more odd numbers!. While my hands were certainly random, the number sequence of hands/table/dates cannot just be an odd coincidence!

All the best.

I don't see anything that is an issue. Perhaps if they burned a card beforehand (you can give some details as to why that would matter when talking to yourself in future). As well, I noticed that 14 of the 20 hands had an odd number as the last digit , and I was sitting on an odd numbered table, and today is the 11th, which is also odd. While my hands were certainly random, the number sequence of hands/table/dates cannot just be an odd coincidence!

All the best.

They are muti-table results?

They are the sequence of hands I was dealt whenever I was sipping a Coca-Cola. The Pepsi hands were different, and reflected more of the taste of the new generation. Don't even get started on Dr. Pepper hands, that's when the tables started playing an annoying jingle that stuck in my head. Very sinister.

Anyway, I did enjoy your weird visit, and the actual real chat it created (of which you were not really that significant). Unlike others, I strongly encourage you to allow this obsession of yours to consume you for the next 10,20,30 + years. You seem to need it, and it is harmless to the rest of humanity, while bringing a bizarre purpose to you. Essentially, you created your personal religion, though it is a shame for you that you cannot make a single penny from it. You should ?/3 your efforts in that regard.

All the best.

These are 20 hands I have just played on stars, my app is still open I have sat out . Do any of you not see how odd this is?
You got a 7 only once. See I can cherry pick too.

Also the T came up only once.

That is not really the oddity I was referring to .

Anyway I am going back to science for a while , I have some black holes to deal with. Hopefully some of you do consider it could be just broken and well consider it.

Thank you all for the talk, it is good for my deluded mind.

Why not? It wasn't the cherry you liked?

Besides the fact nobody is going to believe you do science (or at least shouldn't), nobody is going to agree with you.

He likely has similar chats already going on other forums. SInce this thread was reaching the final stages, it was a good time for a dramatic exit statement from him, and then time for him to move on, while never moving forward.

He is just an example of the weird things that can form an obsession in people. I still remember a sales rep at an appliance store going on a 5-10 minute bizarre rant about the dish washing soap pods, and wondering how they can really dissolve, and what the companies are putting on them to coat our dishes etc etc. I think he was responding to my asking what the warranty was or something. He seemed to pick a strange field of work given his personal issues, but one never know what makes a person tick, and sometimes asking "what is the warranty?" triggers a switch. Billions of humans, some will always be outliers. Hopefully they are productive, or at least harmless (like this OP).

I call shenanigans! Everyone knows people either drink Pepsi or Coke. Nobody drinks both!

Your subjective opinion is rather irrelevant. People already have turned hostile, I had hardly begun to look at the possible problems.
I know to leave , I am not staying and discussing with hostile people who think they are brain doctors or something similar.
That is delusional behaviour in a discussion. I stay on topic .
If you think it is not broken without looking at all the possibilities then that is not being objective sir.
Push for a ban, that is the norm when people stop being people.
