2) Mentioned that Doug should take responsibility for "his week" by getting players into the games himself
-He mentioned you can get action in any game if you bring a fun player with you
3) Doug's videos were really bad for getting those games going as people don't want to be talked about for missing games
- Him dissecting hands of fun players does the same, takes it away from them wanting to gamble

4) Praised his business strategy
I don't understand why PokerGo/PNIA don't require to post e.g. 5% of min buy-in in advance for reserving a seat in the game. If player is a no-show then that 5% will be posted as one orbit of straddles in the game amongst players who show up.

So doug picks a "fight" with Berky then promptly makes a vid with them playing a hand vs each other and titles it "fueding poker players". Also all of this takes place right before Berky happens to be going on a CJ podcast.

Yes I know what a savvy marketer Doug is, so impressive,

That title was my doing. Using descriptors like "crazy Swede" and "drunk idiot" instead of proper names might, in theory, be more clickable for casual viewers. Still experimenting with this, but it seems to be performing well so far.

The 100k hand happened the day before Berkey decided not to show for 200/400.

Joey loves to invite guests who hate Doug. They're some of his most popular videos. I'm sure he booked that podcast as soon as the first shots were fired.

Anyway, if you wanted to manufacture a feud with a poker player, wouldn't you pick someone more interesting? Berkey is quite dull and relatively unknown.

lol. Doug is so lucky to hit that 9 on river, then makes a clickbait title video about how great he is when in reality he played that hand terribly. What was your move on the river Doug if no miravle 9, overbet shove probably and a snap call by Berky.

Advice from Doug (read in Doug voice): "You should NEVER bet that big on such a dry flop!!! Your opponent is very unlikely to have something here and is probably going to fold."

Also Doug: raises.

I am saying, its a beautifull way to win a hand and i guess props to Doug for creating a pot so big to get paid on 9 river, but its not something to be ectremely proud of, just lucky. He was getting crushed if no miracles and imo Doug should have presented it as such. he escaped getting owned on the river as it looks like his ego or feud would get the better of him running a bluff on river as well. So lucky escape really.

Fair comments that he got very lucky, but playing fearlessly is an integral part of his game on the river and he only needs it to work ~50% of the time to make it profitable. (what should have been a bluff).

Obviously it also means he's creating a dynamic where his value bets get paid off more readily.

He's totally fearless value betting big on the river and thin value betting too. Many other players are nowhere near as in tune with when to value bet.

IMO he's in the top 5 players in the world on the river.

Nah, his bad bluffs will outweigh his winnings from value bets mostly due to choosing bad spots against good players. I am a fish and i play that way lol.

This seems like a product of you guys going to this well so many times already. Hey if it works sweet for your guys, The fakeness and sleeziness of this strat is just cringeworthy imo. It's a true shame if you guys have infected Joey with this.

What strat are you talking about? Joey clearly has stepped up his game with titles/thumbnails/content/etc and is having his most successful run on YouTube in a very long time.

The frustration with Berkey not keeping his word is very real. Doug has had PAD and other shows canceled on him due to flakes and complained about this sort of thing off-camera several times before. This was just the last straw for him I think.

I also find it kind of odd that it's acceptable to be critical or even talk **** on Twitter or 2+2, yet some people have very delicate sensibilities about what you can say on video. Maybe it's a social development issue.
