I like to see that post of SimpleRick /
Well played Joey

Stickyrice? For real? C'mon Joey i was always happy with your podcast, almost always. But this? Yeah it was funny. The first 5 minutes maybe. But this guy is not a poker player and is painful to watch. I had to stop watching after 1 hour or so. And that never happened as far as I can remember.

Then you said you regret investing so many hours into Postle. First imo you should accept and admit that it wasn't the right path of action to go public immediately.
That it was very amateurish to not set him up.
Anyways at least you are back. Message if you need a pr consultant in the future.

I loved the StickyRice recap today. Some crazy hands. StickyRice is a poker player, anyone who plays poker is a poker player.

Joey's investigation into Mike Postle was also a very entertaining series of videos. Set him up? Like try to pretend to be on his side and then get him to admit he cheated? Are you ******ed?

You would make a terrible PR consultant. You're fired!

Stickyrice poker persona was probably good for the game and a lot of people enjoyed it but him as a person is super questionable (aka why he streams on mixer now and is banned off twitch permanently) , was view botting csgo for a long time before he got into poker and then was caught with mass subbing his account with stolen credit cards.

(most likely not stolen himself, but paying to inflate his viewercount + sub count + chat bots + fake donations when in reality he had very few real viewers or supporters for majority of his twitch 'gaming career')

Find it weird how he keeps getting brought up and is still infamous when there's so many more honest content creators / personalities in poker and streaming that deserve shoutouts and/or support (i.e live at the bike having him on still every so often and hyping it up)

Google Stickyrice1 and see.
Nobody on twitch likes him. You wanna know why?
Because he was cheating. Viewbotting.
He was also obnoxious. See what people say on reddit.
In fact watch him a few minutes and see what's the matter him. You might find his behaviour amusing but it's not. Let me tell you it is not. He also got punched in the face at the bike playing live poker for being obnoxious.

As to a poker player. No mate just no.
And Joey know this.

As to setting him up. You just had to investigate quietely. And then come up to him maybe with some fellow poker players and demand to take a look at his phone. Maybe talk to Daniel negreanu or matusow saxton or someone first.
Because the way it was done, was like cage expedition without a rope if you know what I mean. It was a dead end. Everyone knew it. If you out him publicly what is the likeliest outcome? He destroys all evidence and you do nothing.

Simplerick I like you but you're fired!

Wow StickyRice1 slander ITT - the guy went on one of the most epic fun player runs ON LIVE STREAM playing $10/$20 busting people left and right in the history of the game. I don't care what other people thought about him playing. I'll watch him play and explain his thought process once/year for the rest of my life.

Washoe - you handle the next poker cheating investigation. There are a few out there right now, go set them up. Get in touch with some of the RTA people and set them up. Show everyone how it is done. Maybe hit up one of the high stakes fun player private games and get one of them to let you play on their account and set that up?

Well I guess you took that personal.
Don't take it personal. I just wanted to give some honest feedback. Im sure you had something in mind when choosing sticky and not staples etc.
But for crying out loud he looks like a vampire now. A VAMPIRE did you know that.

Yeah he is crazy and entertaining. But maybe not in a good way. Look

I appreciate everything you did for the community.
And would appreciate even more if you admit to some mistakes. Everyone makes them.

Joey (and every other famous person you have never met) doesn't owe you anything. He's entertained you for years for free, and all you've done is troll and be disrespectful. I've never seen a single one of your posts that wasn't negative. If poker makes you this miserable, quit poker and go away.

May you now please get into politcs and online-poker-legislation, please?

You really don't wanna see some bum like me making the EU win there, and the USA losing, right?

Yeah maybe I was a little harsh on Sticky, sorry Sticky if you read this.

I was also wrong with somebody punched him they just hit his horseshoe head which he was wearing at Stones Casino not at the bike.

Do not wear a horseshoe head please at the tables, only guy that gets away with it is the unibomber plil laak.

and here he is again summer 2017 at stones, I wonder how long this has been going on and if postle was the only one doing this.

Thats your good right. I wont say anything. I just wanted to tell you as a follower I was annoyed and did not like it.

Im all ears if you have some kind of plan or knowledge about cheaters that use real time solvers. That last sentence I did not get.

criticism is a positive thing if meant sincerely- I wont adress any other point of your as they are all made up and wrong.

I would say critique is a good thing, criticism is bad. And the manner in which you write it matters. Your post came off a bit too negative. Instead of pointing out the negative of what you didn't like with Joey's review of StickyRice, instead maybe try to point out something positive you would like to see him do. As my mom told me "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all".

I meant to say critique.
agree, I reread how I wrote it. I apologize to Joey who I know invested so much time and energy into this, it was stupid of me. I was sweating it too. At thg end it felt unsatisfying to see postle get away.

Maybe get a conversation going again on one podcast with doug polk or someone? Maybe topics like postle, matusow, wsop, galfond challenge, triton, bots.. or even outside poker topics like floyd, blm, corona, live poker or what hes up to.

Compliment-Sandwich usually works best.
One nice thing, then one good critique, then another compliment.

it's good that you ended up admitting being wrong and apologising, but so bizarre that you once again brought up this dumb idea of the James Bond style undercover poker sting. i'm definitely not going to look but i'm pretty sure you had this same brilliant idea months ago which got put in its place at the time

you really think Joey would ever had heard of this if it wasn't already public? and W T actual F would you want to talk to Negreanu (or matusow or sexton) about it for? you think DN going to urgently fly up to sacramento with a hidden camera under his hair plugs to investigate?

I'd be curious to know if they're permanent or semi-permanent.

I'd also like to propose a prop bet with Sticky where the removal of his front top two teeth is on the line. Exaggerated fangs with no front teeth would look sick as hell.

How? Who? The only person to speak up tried to go the 'up the ladder' route and found that to be ineffective. So what other choice did she have? None.

I've been critical that this suspicion wasn't made public sooner. Any further delay for an investigation, allowing people to be cheated more, would have been a mistake.

I found the podcast about StickyRice very interesting and entertaining... that 44 play was hilarious loved the reactions. Thanks Joey.

It lets you see how a 'newer' player thinks and you can tell they are a quick learner / focused on the game. He had notes and played players a little differently, while still maintaining total aggression. It also shows how aggression can get others off their game (44 vs AJ high for example).

I don't watch poker vlogs usually because they are typical and not a lot of action / fun hands. This guy was all over and it was fun to watch him go through the motions.

Anyone know what happened to them... Poker wise? Just a rec that went hot or he still play?

To celebrate my birthday - I'm releasing one of my first gameplay series. I always try to do these $5k challenges where I start with $500 and run it up to $5,000 and this is from one of those online PLO sessions.
