Have an upcoming schedule update for next week

Monday 4pm EST having on Jonas Gjelstad aka Liqqa on Pokerstars. Jonas is a long time HSPLO player and worked with Cardrunners. I met Jonas out in Vegas with the scandi squad. He also won the biggest pot I ever played in the history of my poker life He is mainly focusing on sportsbetting right now and we will talk about that, PLO, his current business, traveling all over, Norwegian women and more.

Weds 4pm EST as announced before Ben Wilinofsky aka NeverScaredB.

Friday will be something but I am unsure what yet.

In the works over the next month or so we will have the legend Chris Moneymaker on, Jason Koon, KingDan, Jason Mo who had to get his rave on yesterday, mix in some Survivor and NBA talk in there and then some others as well.

I've sent a couple cold calls out to people who have been suggested the most ITT and we will see what they say. The cold calls haven't really proven to be a successful method for getting people on the podcast overall. For the more "big time" guests who I've got in touch with trying this, I usually try to get something set up, get it sorta in place and then it doesn't end up coming to fruition. Small sample size so far but not my preferred method of trying to set things up as of right now I've talked about my strat for guests a bunch over time ITT and dealing with things like this is a big reason for that. You get much less respect from people who really don't know much about you and have no reason to respect your time or what you have in mind

Starting up with baadger in about 45 mins. Baadger is from Finland and is a longtime PLO player on Pokerstars.

IIRC you may have been pretty good at that game too

Talk about regrets... not discovering that game until shortly before BF when it was too late

those 25/50 cap tables on FTP back in the day were pretty juicy, even with 40putts and kinetica colluding. would be interesting to hear clockwyze's opinion on how cap has evolved since

Can't wait for the jdawg podcast!

Keep up the good work. I frequently check the channel for new videos. Just cleared 2M channel views! congrats
I don't really mind the criticism, especially when it is put in a way that isn't coming from a completely negative place. I think it really helps. I actually think some of the completely negative criticism can help as well. I listened to someone I really respect talk about making content for your haters. I'm not sure I 100% agree with the idea but it was an interesting thought.

Yeah we hit 2m views and are working pretty quick to 3m it feels like. Will be fun to see how things progress in the coming year.

One of the things I notice pretty quickly about a person is if they get defensive and I've tried to get myself not to be that way. It certainly helps as you gain confidence in yourself and what you are doing but I'm sure there will be some times in the future when it peaks its head out. I'm not sure if having a bit of it in you pertaining to specific things is that bad of a thing.

And if you don't realize THIS is the GOAT podcast, but do some research before hand, there's not much about business, poker & life that Talal Shakerchi hasin't dabbled in.
Talal has some great posts on 2+2 & maybe has some idea where pokerstars are heading with all the talk, share price dropping etc.

Can't wait to see the badger1 episode
I've gotten enough requests that I decided to cold call and message him on 2p2. We shall see if he is interested in coming on

Yeah I really enjoyed the one he did on Pokerstatic back in the day. We are making some progress to get him on one day but not sure if it will happen soon.

Would love to hear what he had in this hand for example.

Is that you chappo???

I remember playing a bunch with him back in the day, he was very much better than me at NL

That's the thing about some poker players, As you can see with the TonyG free rake thread. I expected more reaction in that thread.

Going to be live in about 10 with Liqqa

Can someone explain to me why someone like liqqa would create a site where they get a flat fee of $100-$300 a month in exchange for full disclosure on profitable sports bets? How could that possibly profitable when they can just hammer the lines themselves and print?

Your getting posts deleted cause most of what you post is rubbish just like this post.

It's easy to look on 2+2 on a phone when you have a minute here and there watching/listening to a podcast via youtube not so easy.

Also I have a life. And commitments at times. This may be hard to understand with your IQ and social skills. Not that that my commitments are any of your business.

Hard concept to understand I know but you'll get there one day I hope for your own sake (and everyone elses)

Hopefully someone with half a clue will respond.

Sorry for the derail in your thread Joey

No need to sign up on EdgeBet, just look at a site like oddsportal: http://www.oddsportal.com/sure-bets/

Total sportsbetting noob here, but the approach (at least how I interpreted it) from the podcast seems very interesting.

I always thought that sportsbook would want to get the realistic odds for the games, but that actually makes no sense as then their EV is just the rake, so when they go from GTOstrat to explo, ppl can exploit this. (: - D)

Question to liqqa/sportsbettors, so basically you are waiting for bigshots like harlabob move market (I assume this means sportsbooks changing the odds = moving the line?) and reacting to it faster before some sportsbooks can change their line?

So basically you are just interpreting how the line reacts and placing bets based on that, without giving 2 ****s about the actual game?

To be realistically +EV in this, do you need a bot or can you manually try to catch the linemoves, or are we talking about seconds-minutes here?
