I used to find tuchman insanely irritating with commentary but it may just be during the days when he was a fish and had nfi about the game.. the interview flowed really well, it was a little too 'life' focused but still interesting and he seems like a cool guy.. Looked like he prepared a bit which helps..
I wanted to follow up on this. I weren't a fan of this 1.
Although NVG loves doug (and ofc Joey), we are tuning in to hear about poker, and pick up any crumbs of knowledge from v good players.
If I remember rightly, a lot of the conversation wasnt about poker and as interesting as doug is about all topics, we wanna hear poker stuff.
Look at Jason Mo. He does not talk strat because that's the rule of the show but I always finish the episode when he's on learning about the poker world. This Doug interview (and I suppose the Donger Kim interview also who wouldnt talk strat), came away v disappointed.
I dont go round telling people what to do in general, but Joey if you get Doug on again, you need to get the poker knowledge out of him!!!!!! (Even if it means dragging it out)
PS. We need oddsen on again. Or yaarny (Oh dont make me do another list
)
