They really need to stop making so many spell centric brawls. Feels like every other brawl is centered around spell cards somehow, and obviously that is lopsided as hell considering certain classes synergise with spells much stronger than others.

I think I said before, but I think a good rule of thumb when designing brawls should be, ask yourself is there are currently popular ladder decks that would dominate this brawl, and if the answer is yes that brawl sucks ass.

I did something like this; went up against the mech mage/flamewalker deck which was dominating the board all game only for me to go Leeroy Jenkins into Blessed Champion and attack for 30.

This is an interesting idea for a brawl. You add cards to your deck every turn and redraw your hand at the end of each turn.

My first go I picked a raid leader over some other crappy cards, mostly so I could trade something vs a priest. Then I end up with Summoning Stone in my deck a couple turns later and am able to go off with the coins and spare parts. Raid Leader took over a little while later.

Looks like Tavern Brawl is down?

I logged on at 09:00 PST, forgetting that it goes live at 10:00. The note next to Tavern Brawl said "Back in 1 hour."

I log on at 10:08 PST and it now says "Back in 1 day"

Yeah there is an announcement on the blizz client launcher thingy too. Pretty annoying, didn't seem like EU had any issues, I wonder what the deal is.

With the "simply select a class" Tavern Brawls, I did my usual routine of playing each class until I get a win with that class.

Wow, this brawl is swingy. Of all of my matches, only 1 was close. The rest were ridiculously 1 sided. I'm not sure which class I would say dominates, it all seems to come down to getting a good quality 3/4/5 drop minion in your first couple picks. Hell, I got an argent squire in my first pick in one game, and it was MVP of the match, I kept drawing it and taking out opponents chickens, and then retaining board advantage.

Not my favorite brawl by any means, but I'll probably play it a bunch more the next few days for gold.

You just shuffle cards you play into your deck. I watched Kripp for a few minutes and he didn't understand and filled his deck with chickens.
