It's obviously not super refined, I don't think anyone runs Harvest Golem these days for example but I can't be bothered to craft something to replace it with since I'm neither good enough nor do I play enough to get anywhere near legend. Highest I got with the deck was rank 5 right after TGT was released when I played a bit more because zomg rank rewards. If I was to craft something now I'd probably replace the Darkbomb and Harvest Golems with a 2nd Argus and Implosions.

Do you have Naxxramas? Haunted Creeper/Nerubian Egg are both hard to replace in Zoo.

Derwipok's list isn't bad. The most glaring card missing is Implosion.

Probably sub the Darkbomb for a Ironbeak Owl. Zoo controls the board with minions, you don't need direct damage, and the owl is more useful for bypassing taunts to get that last bit of lethal.

I think Void Terror is too slow for more aggro decks, and Zoo didn't really run Voidcallers until Mal'Ganis was released either.

I think what bgh needs is an anti aggro counterpart something like battle cry if you opponents board totals 3 or more creatures with a combined casting cost of 5 or less destroy them. So it wouldn't kill a 1 a 2 and a 3 but would kill 2 leper gnomes an abusive and a mad scientist.

This my current f2p EU deck. I need the epic pirates and Greenskin ofc. I'm lacking 1 agent. I'm wondering should I craft a second Tinker's or just save the 40 dust up for the agent or and epics and legendary for the deck. I can take out 1 sap for the Tinker's. Usually the complete Pirate rogue only runs one sap.

Talk about a stupid uninteractive deck that is not any fun to play against, freeze Mage is stupid and shouldn't exist. Let's give ice block the warsong treatment, "at the start of your next turn give your frozen minions +1 attack" or something like that.

Serious question: do you think any deck is fun to lose against?

Personally, I love playing against freeze mage when I'm playing CW.

freeze mage is one of the only decks that requires thought on both sides in a game. it has great matchups, good matchups, bad matchups, and impossible matchups. there are specific cards available you can add to your deck to beat it if you want that are weak vs other decks. its what decks should be

I do too, I love playing knowing there's no way the opponent can win.

I hate playing when not playing CW, I hate playing when I know there's no way I can win.

??? There are plenty of decks that are good against freeze mage. Control priest, combo druid, any deck that runs kezan...

do you constantly overextend? do you think about when to use or save silence? do you know when to hit face early and when to kill cycle minions? its a deck that you know 28 of the cards in and can guess the other 2 about 80% of the time.

beat freeze mage on turn 5 with tempo mage....got lucky he didn't draw anything though. well i popped the block and he insta quit. it is an annoying deck to play against but I can see how it's quite tough. under certain circumstances it just loses but that's true with just about any deck. with the lack of heal by a ton of the top decks, I can see why it's being played.

I don't that much. But the EU vs. NA thing rustles my jimmies since both have ****ters and good players.




And Freeze mage should exist. It is one of the decks in the game that people can't slap their nuts on the keyboard and win with.

What are the most "skilled decks" now that are actual viable ladder decks.

I'm guessing Freeze Mage, Handlock, Echo Mage and Control Priest.

Freeze Mage, HL, CP are all very annoying along with CW but all very viable and necessary for the meta.

How do you beat freezemage as control priest?

Last time I played this matchup I stayed at 30 the whole game while trying to apply pressure without overextending. But that gave him so much time to set up. Then he played anton and generated a couple of fireballs. I swd it. Then he alexed me to 15. I have 2 lights and improved heropower so I heal back to 25 and swd alex. He pyroblasts me to 15. I heal to 19. He double fireballs me +hero power to 6. I heal to 10. Fireball + frostbolt + hero power and I'm dead.

It just felt like I didn't have enough threats to meaningfully pressure him and many of my cards were dead.

Surprised with all of the Pally, Oil hasn't made a bigger comeback. But I guess it isn't great vs. secret.

From the list earlier, 12 druids, 8 hunters, 7 mage, 7 pally, 1 priest, 3 rogue, 2 shaman, 4 warlock, 4 warrior at the world championships.

at least all classes are represented albeit in a small % for priest.

I'm guessing all druids are MR, all hunters are MR, probably half and half ice/tempo mage, probably mostly secret pally, i'm guessing dragon priest, all oil rogue, not sure about shaman, probably half zoolock/handlock and all CW or could we see the new patron.

Thijs exchanging out MR druid for dragon priest seems weird.

I don't think I've ever played that matchup but it's hard for me to imagine the Control Priest is favored.

Not familiar with the match either, but I'd imagine priest would have to be running justicar, flash heal and light of the naaru to even have a chance. A standard Control Priest is never gonna put enough pressure on the mage to threaten and once alex comes out, game is just over.

Meh I guess it depends on the priest list. I know bobbo posted a list a few days ago ITT with only 1x holy champion that didn't have any 6+ cards besides cabals and justicar that I'm sure would be a dog to freeze mage. I run a heavier list and I've never felt the matchup to be "unwinnable" as was posted (felt it was pretty close to 50/50). Maybe I'm just wrong though.

Edit: and Wolf he drew all 3 of his threats that game and also got value from Antonidas, that doesn't happen every game
