What is the power ranking for most powerful person alive at this point? I think it's a toss up between Tywin and Dany. That Martel guy was pretty badass but I mean he is in Kings landing and planning to kill Lannisters? He's gotta be dead soon (this season at a max) right? How is that his plan??

The Dario thing doesn't bother me as with a cast this size something like that was bound to happen.
Cersei responding coldly to Jamie's return was surprising. Not even a handjob for her bro, that's harsh. Tywin's reaction is exactly what I would've imagined, I mean he got captured by Robb and lost his hand. What a loser. That's totally Tywin's mindset; he has high standards for his children.

I'm not sure what the Martel guy is up to, doubt he's going to pull any **** in King's Landing as you said there's no real escape unless he's just there on a suicide mission.

Lol I'm now picturing a cold opening of Cersei half heartedly jerking off Jamie with that same bitchface she always has on.

You're right on Tywin, expecting a warm fatherly welcome is not consistent with his character.

He had a legendary ****-eating grin.

It wasn't that I loved him as an actor playing that role so much, it was the difference between the 2 actors playing the role and the fact it was forced down my throat that this new, dark-haired, bearded, different build entirely guy was Daario (they specifically called to attention that this was Daario at least twice). It caused me to think about this, looking at my GF as she was trying to figure out who it was that was unfortunate and distracted me from the scenes.

Maybe it's possibly Dario can shape shift like that guy who gave Arya the coin??? That'd be expert level trolling if it's the old Dario next week, then Samuel L Jackson in ep3 - and they never address it.

Original guy just put it out there confidently, it was believable Danny getting immediately baby seal wet.

New guy is handing flowers, and just being all out ****** around her. Wheres your saddle bag full of chopped heads, guy?

Nah old Dario denounced rape so clearly he is a romantic.

HBO definitely tried to jam him down the publics throat. I mean a test of wills with grey worm? Really?

Glenn is the worst character on TWD. At least they didn't change the actor playing him.

I really liked the forge scene too.

He was definitely referring to Joff with that one. Almost expected "No offense to you, girl", but he is the hound after all.

+1

Seriously, compare it to all the other season openers.
04-06-2014 , 11:58 PM
There were also a few great funny lines, but I won't remember them until 8 more viewings.

I thought it was great. Arya/Hound scene was fantastic. Sword intro was awesome. Prince Oberyn guy was so good, had an amazingly intense presence about him.

Only thing that sucked was the guy playing the new Dario. Had no charisma at all, was forcing it so bad, had no chemistry with Emilia Clarke whatsoever and it was legit distracting from the show when he was trying to act.

like always, BRONN had the line of the night i think

I didn't like the old Dario at all but I hate that they switched actors. Really distracting.

Enjoyed the episode quite a bit. Prince dude was cool
04-07-2014 , 12:04 AM
Yeah, that's the best one of the episode.

Dorne Prince: How did you become a knight?
Bronn: I killed the right people.
04-07-2014 , 12:08 AM
dario recasting confused me. How do you hire an actor for the end of S3 and not have him for S4?

Also I expect to see 1 or 2 episodes of the mountain and have him either die or get recast for S5

and right after that he laughs and says we need more whores and Bronn nods yes and Tyrion shakes no simultaneously.

Cersei had a good one too, but I forget
The stuff about pycell smelling like a dead cat was great.

Also Jaime is def gonna end up banging Brienne. He was flirting hard.

There's hope that Shae might be killed off soon, for that
