This guy get it. Old daario had the juice, new daario has none. Really surprised they cast him. You'd think they would do screen test withDany? And if so, I would be hard pressed to believe they saw any chemistry between the 2. The chances of her wanting to **** that guy are 0. And that's a problem

I dont know man, I just wanted to punch the last dario till his face caved in and the new one was good in Treme even tho that show sucked. I'd much rather see what the new guy has to offer even tho its funny how different this new Dario is.

As much as I was annoyed by the new Daario, I thought the flower scene was actually really well done by both him and Dany. He was providing solid intelligence on what to expect in her new environs (Dany's all about winning the people, so she needs to know what makes them tick, their land, etc.), while at the same time wooing her. And her line about him being a gambler was well-read/acted--you can see a bit of weakness in her at the same time she's trying to project anger/power.

For some reason I really liked the insane swagger/weirdness of the old Daario.

I thought one of the swords was notably shorter than the other. I expected Tyrion to get the shorter sword.

Even though he's best with an axe.

Oberyn Martell's presence in King's Landing is surely complicated by Cersei's daughter Myrcella being married off to House Martell.

The Lannisters can't simply kill Oberyn and not expect that Myrcella's lilfe will be in danger.

Thanks, nice post.

It's all Tyrion and Pycelle's fault!

MrAdvantage seems a little perturbed that the new guy is gay/bi.

Def not my type but hardly perturbed by him. I am just debating his bossness. A real boss would have just raped little little finger .

I am definitely curious with HBO's writing gay gangsters into their shows though. PO is at least the 4th 1 remember without even trying.

Yeah he seems like he's probably pretty sick warrior and also has a super powerful family. Also, isn't Cersei's daughter in Dorne? So they can't just kill Oberyn without her getting raped and split open most likely.

Nice little joke (foreshadow?), when the cannibals were describing crows and talking about them getting fat and tasting good and stuff, after he suggests to the guy that he should try crow just once in his life the camera immediately switches to Piggy.

If Piggy got eaten I would laugh so hard.

High probability it's ends up with Arya imo

My initial reaction to the scene was that it was Rob's sword and the other was to be melted in to the throne. Didn't occur to me that it was Valyrian (sp?) and they wouldn't waste it. Very powerful in reinforcing the split from the old Jamie that can't wield a longsword.

I thought that was exactly how the character Dario was meant to make us feel. He "annoyed" Dani with his Cassanovastyle but his Face still gave off that "possibly super badass"-vibe. Hard to explain it in english :P

The new guy just seems to have zero "game".

edit:

The old guy game across like a major douche while being secretive and that was what made him great.

Khaleesi has 1 good episode per season. I don't care if i sound like a moron, that's the worst storyline on the show and pretty much has been since Drogo died.

Im with you conz. My wife loves this character, and i admittedly did as well season 1, when the eggs hatch, etc etc.

my fear is by the time she gets to where shes going, the big reveal is gonna be the big "about fukcing time". Just caring less and less
