The prince at the start being the brother in law of raeghars tagaryen was an intersting link back to the old king.

the first ep of s2 and s3 played out similarly. it's tough to play catch up with such a large cast. i expect everyone will be disappointed for about 4-5 episodes and then start saying it's amazing because that's just what happens every season.

I don't get what all the hate is about aside from the weird Dario swap. I thought the ep was on par with entire series.

There were good things in it. The wildlings, wall and prince guy scenes were all good. As was Joff being Joff and Jamie feeling late to the party.

Mayb the whole waiting for the ep for the past year just put too much pressure.

I liked it. Surprised that Jamie quarreled with both Tywin and Cersei... Would've expected a warmer response, but then again, they are Lannisters.

What is the power ranking for most powerful person alive at this point? I think it's a toss up between Tywin and Dany. That Martel guy was pretty badass but I mean he is in Kings landing and planning to kill Lannisters? He's gotta be dead soon (this season at a max) right? How is that his plan??

The Dario thing doesn't bother me as with a cast this size something like that was bound to happen.
