Getting flayed would suck

Just had an Aha! moment with regards to what I'm thinkin is about to happen in Mereen. Jorah is gonna infect the city with greyscale. It was foreshadowed (GoT sure loves this) in the scene where Stannis tells his daughter about the horror of the disease. Also, Jorah's line "I brought you a gift" works on two levels.

I assume Lancel outed Tommen as a bastard as well. I guess it's possible this arrest is only for Cersei sexing him, but I doubt it.
Wasn't Lancel one of Robert Bartatheons stewards or something along those lines and played a part in his death by Cersei's orders?

The magic boobs scene was hot.

He says its "also a handsome young man", so my best guess is that he knows the whereabouts of Gendry(Robert Baratheon's bastard) and would offer him to Oleanna to back him as being the rightful King.

@PFTompkins

I hope before #GameOfThrones eventually wraps we find out just whatever the **** this dude's problem is.

i dont get the fire lady. Why do they need to killl stannis daughter when all they needed before was blood from the other lad (got through leeches)? Stick a leech on her and win the war. EZ game

Another episode of nothing happening. Even in the slower seasons the pace was never this glacial. We're moving an inch of plot per episode it's so god damn annoying.

Fire Priestess keeps talking about a great battle in the snow and that Stannis has seen it in the flame. They even said the Bolton flag was being lowered.

Not once did they say who was involved in the fighting or who won. Stannis himself said he wasn't sure what he saw.

so

I can't wait until Littlefinger arrives back in the North with an army.

I mean, they really weren't enemies. Bronn is not a Lannister, he's just a sellsword. They happened to be on opposite sides of one particular interaction, but it wasn't because of any deep-seated hatred that either of them felt for the other. Is it really such a stretch to think that one might take a liking to the other when the fighting is done?

And I don't think they had to become "instant friends." Maybe she just thought he seemed interesting and didn't want to see him go just yet.
All of this.

Bronn has a Dornish free spirit type of personality, not at all weird she took a liking to him.

I thought that was just to introduce the island Jorah/Tyrion was traveling by and make sense of what's going on there.

Though he is very much like the dude in a zombie movie who gets bitten, doesn't tell and ruins it for everyone.

I was thinking Robin Arryn.

Those boobs were the greatest set ive ever seen on this show. Still cant tell if they were real or implants.

Just rewatched the boob scene. They gotta be fake, they seem too perky, but that def is the hottest girl on the show to get naked so far.

This was what I was thinking too. I'm just not sure how LF would have influence over Lancel.

Lancel's attitude towards Cersei has changed since he came to KL and asked for her forgiveness and it's possible LF was behind it, I just don't know how it would make sense.

He was. I'm not sure if it's been confirmed it was on order by Cersei, but it seems likely.

LF obviously knows about this, could LF use the fact that he knows Lancel (indirectly) killed the king to black mail him? I don't know, I doubt the High Sparrow would care.

this all just kinda sucks. i mean it's super obvious that they're setting the stage for a massive conflict but tommen is just such a pussy little bitch, i want JOFF the one true king back. he was at least entertaining and didn't take **** from a bunch of poor ass bible thumping lunatics. arya of course hasn't done a goddamn thing the whole season despite cameras being focused on her nearly half the time. lol jamie, fkn idiot wtf did you think was gonna happen when you got there? he wouldn't be doing that **** if tywin was still alive. sam loses his virginity finally, way to go bro! good thing jon left ghost behind to conveniently save your ass, u fkn fat bitch. real halfassed plot twist with tyrion being sold into slavery and then half an episode later be free again due to some really halfassed slave revolt or something? wtf? so stupid. and while we're on it, JFC dany's storyline has to be the one thing that can tilt me almost as much as these stupid sparrow ******s

THIS SHOW USED TO BE CREATIVE AND THE CHARACTERS WERE COMPELLING. i'm really feeling angsty and frustrated so far this season, blood better flow in the next couple episodes or i'm gonna end up throwing something through the tv
Well said. I dont agree, but well said nevertheless.

I don't know, the actress seems young, could be real.

They were great, but hard to say that, I mean there's been a gazillion awesome boobs on the show, from big huge ones, to medium sized ones, to nice perky ones. Sounds like a good research topic to get a definitive answer.
05-25-2015 , 07:36 PM
Pretty great season so far. Lot of twists and stuff.
05-25-2015 , 07:36 PM
I enjoyed most of this episode. Got a bit soapy at times, but it seems most of the story lines are starting to pay off.

I love how this show plays with expectations. Sansa's candle hopes seem to be crushed and both Jorah and Tyrion met Dany before she bounced. To use an annoying poker analogy, GoT is streets ahead of everything else on TV when it comes to plot balancing.
05-25-2015 , 07:54 PM
As rep_lol said, a season filled with pointless scenes the whole slaver, kidnap, auction, and fight pit scenes were the definition of totally pointless. In terms of story you could have cut from the shore off stone people island to the walking into meet Dany and you would have lost nothing.

Just awful writing.
05-25-2015 , 08:26 PM
No because then you can't have a storyline where they go to the busto fighting pit, Dany shows up, and leaves before they see her. It's much more believable this way even though you could have gotten there without what you think is filler.

I do agree this season has been slow at times and there are parts that are pointless and don't advance the story. I don't think the Jorah and Tyrion scenes this episode hinder the show. Quite the opposite. I think your version of GoT would likely be very straightforward and predictably boring.

Oh hey look. Another bunch of posts from spoiled, entitled whiners who complain when every episode isn't on the level of the Red Wedding.
