When I met you last trip @ TS, you seemed like a pretty cool and chill guy. We chatted for a bit and there were no problems and I didn't understand why people had such bad things to say about you. I just didn't see it. It's the stuff that goes on around here that makes you look like a horrible person. You need to let er' go man.

Unless Ryan has done something to personally harm you, I don't see why so much crap has to be stirred up. Just let everyone go ahead with their business.

People know Ryan's history and they can make their judgements and decisions based on what they know.

This thread isn't supposed to be filled with drama and bickering between people. It was made with the intention that people would be able to talk about the series, report day to day events at the series and general chat about TS, not for the bickering.

i know i dont post a lot on here, played 4 tournies so far, 2 final tables, 6th place in the sat night 109 and just did a 4 way chop in the 295,,,,,,,fields are small.....but for me, its a grea experioence to be here never really playing live b4, major adjustments have to be made from online...

A Completely True Story from Turning Stone Resort and Casino:
MinBet4U and I were pulling an epic late night grind sesh short stacking the 1 and 2 blinds Unlimited Betting Texas Hold Em game taking place on table 4 in the Poker Room and Gambling Hall.
We had bought in for $50 (Fifty United States Dollars) a piece, and had proceeded to experience great fortune and increased our stacks through strategic application of the "All-In" mechanism in roughly %75 of hands.
Several of our fellow tablemates did not agree with our tactics, they felt that such aggressive maneuvers were below the dignity of this fine game.
One such man was a colorful Indian character who would hold his cards directly to the lenses of his glasses on each turn before performing the Indian Death Soul Read glare and folding.
Another was a woman who I assume to be of Russian descent who got so entirely displeased by the speed at which we were playing that she looked at the Kings of Clubs and Hearts and decided that she had "Had enough of this crazy game" and mucked her cards face up before walking away over a powerful UTG limp.

I've done this act of the all in moves many times for my own enjoyment, built up 1k stacks multiple times, and people instead of basking in the EV of what I'm doing, leave for the following reasons:

"This isn't poker, this is bingo."
"That guy has been playing on the same hundred dollars for the last 5 hours, and you just stupidly sent him home."
"I can't play, this kid is being disrespectful to the game."

Vu and other dealers that have seen this act, will attest to the fact that I was not out of line ever, unless you want to call overbetting pots out of line.

I'm obviously not going to educate the fish, but it's just funny how some people can just think like that. It seems like many of them are too set in their ways and stubborn to learn though, so meh.

Lol...Eppy and I once joined a 2/4 game in a drunken stupor and did the same thing...that game emptied out at an Usain Bolt-esque pace. That was also the first night we got em to spread the 2/4 mixed game with billionz of white chips...good times, good times.

what a horrible turnout today. both tournaments had no more than 55 players. half the field was ******ed. all anyone does in the tournaments is limp, limp, limp. i couldnt believe how **** the players were. complete waste of time.

Seriously people are now bitching about how bad the players were? These threads are starting to tilt me pretty hard, all people do is complain 24x7. TS provides soft tournies, a TD who comes on 2p2 regularly trying to please absolutely everyone (myself included), really good dealers, very reasonable structures for the buyins, and pretty cheap rates for rooms and such. I really see no reason for so much bitching, just gtfo if you don't like what's being offered. Opinions and suggestions are one thing, but complain trains are quite another. Just get better at this game and you wouldn't have to complain so much to make up for the problems you're having.
