It depends what you are going to use it for.

a) Just for poker
Get the cheapest one. a dell 3007 should be well under $1k, imo

b) for watching DVDs (ie, not high-def)
The Dell 3008 and Gateway one have impressive internal video processors which can upscale stuff well

c) for watching PC content
all much of a muchness, 'cause your video card will upscale everything anyway

d) for long term compatibility
a Dell 3008 has display port, which is likely to be handy in the future


p.s. Rumour has it that the Dell 3008 had some technical problem, and distribution was interrupted, so it may be difficult to obtain.

I am looking to get a trackball mouse b/c I think I am starting to get CTS. I remember a lot of ppl mentioned the logitech MX revolution, is that considered the best? I don't want to spend more than $100.

I think the Logitech MX Rev is the best mouse but it's not a trackball. I just bought this for cheap and it seems good.

No, the mx rev still functions as a regular mouse but upgraded with all those fancy buttons/fast scrolling ability.

I'd be pretty pissed if somebody kicked me out for being annoying especially if it's the first I had heard about these annoying habits.. I hope you didn't kick him out because you found a better friend that wanted to move in.

dd, i did multiple times, and he'd either be like ya sure, while still doing it no matter how many times i told him, OR he'd just get incredibly pissy and not talk to me for the rest of the day even though i'd tell him in a really calm and non-offensive way. when i booted him i told him it was b/c i had promised my other friend i'd live with him if we ever lived in the same place and it worked out that he's moving to this city now, because if i told him i'm kicking him out because he's an annoying piece of **** and a crappy dude i'd be concerned for his life and my safety. had my other friend not be moving in i'd have moved out myself.

I got kicked out of my apartment less than 24 hours ago, and I can say that it sucks a lot
