When I was referring to getting away with a lot of stuff, I wasn't talking about doing things that affected an individual, instead mostly I was talking about all the times I had driven drunk when I was younger (and hopefully stupider), and stuff that I had done when I was drinking heavily (stealing taxis for fun, creating random chaos, pathologicaly lying) not really things that were ever done intentionally to hurt individuals, sometimes it just turned out that way. A lot of people that have gotten the grunt of my stupidity have forgiven me, I just find it funny that so many people who don't know me at all randomly hate on me for being this "bad guy". I mean its not like I didn't pay dearly for my mistakes between jail time, legal fees that I did not have, community service, etc.

A year ago today I was homeless, sleeping in parks because I was too ashamed to ask anyone to borrow money or go home... regardless of whether or not you believe in karma, I find it hard to believe that I haven't deserved everything I have gotten... good or bad.

FYI, Carter, I have a friend just like you, goes through periods of being flush and having the time of his life partying non stop and paying for all his friends drinks and drugs and generally being a top top guy that everyone loves, and periods of having absolutely no money and sponging off everyone / screwing over his friends for money etc etc and becoming the guy that everyone hates. He has periods of being sensible and having his head screwed on straight, and periods where he has wild ideas and generally goes a bit crazy and doesn't give a ****. This process cycles on a 3/4 month basis. People generally forgive him in the end and the people he screwed over are still his mates because he generally manages to sort it out during the good months. He goes through periods of lying pathologically. He generally cannot hold down employment for >6 months.

He has been diagnosed as bipolar manic depressive and to be honest I am 95% that you are too. You might want to see someone about it as I'm sure they can help to balance you out.

I never told him the money went towards makeup, that makes absolutely no sense. Doing so would require him to win for me to get my actual money back. After reading through the thread, I don't see how anyone in their right mind could ever side with him. He's dodged absolutely every question. I regret saying things I did, as I obviously tarnished my own reputation, but I was completely enraged over what he did to me. I'm actually a well respected member of the poker community. I'm very good friends with a lot of well known guys and I'm not trying to brag at all.. I'm just saying a lot of people that you respect, have a lot of respect for me. I'm one of the most honest people you will ever meet. I did this simply to out him and prevent anyone from getting scammed further. If anyone was reading the chat between us during his SCOOP run, it only proved my point more. He continually responds, but when he's asked something in relation to what he did to me, he has no answer. He tells me my morals or messed up so he won't pay me? If I'm such a bad person, people probably wouldn't be sending me $25,000+ without hesitation. Like I said, I'm very well respected by the community, both live and online. I wouldn't be wasting my time over $5k or whatever it is if it weren't based on principle and to prevent anyone from backing him. I'm assuming he refuses to pay me because I told his WSOP backer last year what he did to me, which resulted in him being dropped. I'm not trying to suck money out of him (although it would be nice to get paid what I'm owed), I'm simply trying to help everyone else out. I think this is fairly obvious since I've made every effort to prevent him from making money playing this game, which would make it impossible for him to pay me. I have known you just about as long as anyone in poker and you know I like you, but this is pretty disappointing. I dont really think mobilis was out of line using your name. He asked you about a player that you previously backed and you basically lied. Reminds me of when I asked lilholdem about bunk and he told me he was trustworthy. That cost me 75K and then afterwards chad says "oh yea he has always been shady." Was playing a 280fpp satelite to the sunday 1/4 million today (seriously, best fpp value, just takes a looong time to use em) when some guy said he just read my thread this morning, and i was shocked to see that it was still going on. Made me lol when I saw it was. So Matt how did he basically lie? Still confused, I didn't scam either of them out of money. He said I started playing poorly, which was true, but that wasnt because I was trying to play bad, it was simply because I was playing bad. I go through those stages sometime. If you look at my OPR you would notice that I tend to lose about 9 months a year, then kill it for 3 months. Dont know why it works out that way, but it just does. Its not becauase I am trying to play bad, but sometimes when your losing and running bad, you end up playing bad because your trying to get it all back quickly. I dunno. Furthermore I dont see why you have a personal vendetta against me. I cant recall what started it, but whatever it is, it is pretty stupid/childish. I have no problem with you, if I said something when I was a teenager that you took offense to, I am sorry and would like to think that I am slightly more mature now. And that hand posted was close to the most embarrassing hand of my poker career, and trust me, I have played a lot of bad hands. And pgh I hope you die is a little extreme. Even what your accusing me of isnt quite as bad as wishing death on someone. And I have always been awful with money, simply put I just don't care.
