Fired up some tourneys yesterday and can somebody tell me where all of my fav tourneys have gone??

Like 8,80 6 max turbo, 5,50 cubed, 8,80 cubed, 13,50 knockout reg speed and 11 freezeout 6K/10K guaranteed?

New schedule was launched last month, so many things have changed from what they were. I miss the $13.50 KOs as well, RIP. I'd love to see some standard KO events on the schedule. Not everything needs to be Progressive.

Yeah, i knew that- but extremely dissapointed that so many of my fav tourneys to play is nowhere to be found anymore. Is there any regular freezeouts reg speed outside of the Bigs at all at smaller buyins? What about 5,50-8,80 and 22 all cubed? Are all those gone and never coming back?

If you type 'new' in the filter you can see some lowstakes freezeouts that have been added recently. Cubes are basically the new Deep Stacks structure. There are def fewer on the schedule than in the past. Probably deserves to be few more mixed across the day.

It's not just SCOOP. Every single non-BIG/BB in the ET evening is a re-entry, and none of them are labelled as such. I only found out shortly after the tournament began, and then I wished I hadn't played it. I also hadn't realized the late-registration/re-entry period had been extended to 80 minutes from 60, which was already too long for a $1 non-major, IMO.

A reasonable compromise on the pay table issue, if Amaya was open to such a thing, would be to keep the new paytables for the faster events (turbos, semi-turbos, hypers, etc) and revert to something similar to old paytables for the regular speed and deep stack events... it is asinine to play 5 hours in a SCOOP for 1.4/1.5x my BI.

And people entering these longer events have implicitly stated by buying in that they want a longer event with the higher possibility of grinding a long time for no cash at all.

That's a really cool idea. It makes a lot of sense as well. Nice post m8.

If Amaya wants a bigger share of the deposits and so cut winning players ROI, it would not make any sense. Revert to old payouts for turbos seems much more realistic, though unlikely.

Does anyone know how to change how many stacks you put in play at the start of multi stack tournaments? I think I set it to default put in all stacks first time I played one and can't find an option to change that.

Settings > Gameplay > Multi-Tabling > untick 'Always Start n-Stack Tournaments with Maximum chips'

I d like to mention that among other things they have completely destroyed the satellite tournaments. You have to pay rake for every reb/add-on when you initially paid only for the registration. As a result the traffic has been dramatically reduced.
For example the 1,65+ on peak hours had 13+ tickets guaranteed and now you can harldy fight for 4-5 tickets with 2,2+ buy in. I really cannot see how this is profitable for them.
Hyper tournaments going ALL 6 max made them even more BINGO than they were.
Rebuy tournaments have also been destroyed ( the few that have been left)
Personally i find the luck of small buy-in (under 20$) tournaments during peak hours disturbing
I cannot see how PS can turn this around, most players are disappointed from the rake-payment structure - schedule changes

This

I can't understand why they deleted so many tournaments when they rolled out the new schedule...why not just add more, why delete so many?

In 2 years we will have 3-max hyper-turbo MTTs only.

You probably have settings --> multi-tabling --> 'auto-close tournament without notification' ticked

Can you look at adding a mini version of the pacific rim special?

Good alternative

You could also keep the existing structure for Buyins up to $x and then lower the % for the higher buyins.

No way that any recreational player enjoys this Saturday Micro payout table. Over 1k paid and even after 50% of them are busted you still haven't doubled your buyin. The 3$/6max even paid 17.6% of the field.
