Do you want faster blind structures or just less time taken per hand? There are ways to speed up games with less time to act and caps on # of tournaments per player based on players’ average time to act.
Thanks,

Please do not underestimate the contribution of regs to the volume and popularity of the above mentioned games.
These games are extremely fragile and I strongly believe rely on regs filling up these games to act as starters and encourage recs to join these rapidly filling games.
I think this point is proven by the fact that fulltilt with 20k players only needs 36 to join a rush sng, yet they hardly ever run in the $12 buyins +, and even the $4 volume is low.
Equally stars in the gmt morning times has 80-90k players yet $8+ 45-180s struggle to fill - why no regs to fill up seats and then encourage recs to join. If you had 15 regs constantly registering on fulltilt rush games $12+ many more of these would run, but there are no regs registering these games and so they are dead.
Too many changes in the Stars formats, hurting regs, will risk in these mttsng's become like the current fulltilt sng graveyard - great shame as I used to love fulltilt!
Equally I appreciate that regs rely on recs being willing to play in order for enough games to run to make them profitable and worthwhile playing, so they should not be ignored but their whims should not be put first. If they are genuinely bored of waiting for hands then they should be adding another table as they clearly have the time to play it! This is +ev for everyone. Perhaps stars should be further encouraging recs to register for another table. The new button when knocked out of a 180 if a great idea, why not incorporate this option too as soon as one loads or halfway through, or something along these lines?
If recs say they cannot manage to play more than 2 tables at a time - let them know about your hotkey buttons (I bet not many even realise what these are, how they can help), this will help them to multitable and they will probably enjoy the novelty factor too and that it becomes even more like a video game.
Also whilst recs come and go it is the regular players who remain constantly loading these games enabling them to run and make pokerstars profits. If you limit regs to too few a tables, dilute the player pool with zoom, or hyper offerings then these players (gamestarters if you like), myself included will most likely be forced to switch to a more profitable hourly format, whether that be the new sng offerings, completely different sng's, cash games, or hopefully not but possible softer euro sites.
