Right now there's a 5k fpp tourney which I think is to the PCA Mega tourney... yet it also shows 218k in the prize pool along with 5 seats to the MegaStack... and if it is to the Mega Stack there should be more then 5 seats as there is about 10 seats worth of fpp buy ins... really confusing.

Edit: They just cancelled this midway through and gave everyone their money back or gave them all a seat... if it's the latter then that's just insanely generous.. and a bit stupid imo. Mistakes do happen and getting refunded wouldn't be the worst thing.

the ANZPT sats need tweaking. too often they are cancelled because there is a 4 person minimum to start the mtt, this needs to be removed; loads of people would late reg. i know i would have late regged at least twice this week for cancelled MTTs.

also, no-one based in australia wants to play a reg speed sat starting at 11pm aest, so this slot should always be a 3x turbo

Stars why can't u run reg speed 109s into the 700s when there's enough time? Running turbos only is just higher variance for lower stake players

I'd like to see guaranteed seated satellites into Big/Hot/Omania events, that use step 1/2 buy ins. Yesterday, I played a 27$ satellite to SM2, which was awesome, it had like 10 seats guaranteed and it got crushed, giving something like 20+ seats.

Cheers thanks for the response, I understand and appreciate the reasoning behind the VIP system, but for recreational players like myself volume isn't always possible with life/work commitments, and seen as the 130FPP sat is already there then changing it to a Hyper turbo would make a lot more sense for everyone.

Edit; to say just saw your thread in the internet poker forum and thanks for highlighting how bad value dollars wise the VIP's freeroll tourneys can be, I sorta suspected that was the case but not quite to the scale you highlighted.

fairly comfortable saying i average basically the same number of units playing from start and late regging but my stack is bigger pre addon if i play 90 min of rebuys


i dont see late regging as advantageous in a "unit investment" sense but i do like not being forced to waste my (swearword) time [and i do despise that part of it, and would rather not be forced into 15 minutes more of the same]



largely just guessing but id say stars could tell you the average cost of players reaching addon is about 7-8 total units either playing from start or late regging (mines higher), and id be a bit surprised if its more than 2 units disparity between the approaches on average

which if true means no one has a dubious advantage over the other except some people trade [wasted] attention and table space for deeper pre addon stacks, [a trade i dont want to make if its not obv ]

I think everyone is loving these 27$ satellites, into the Sunday million. But Please, include breaks on them, if necessary, just back the schedule up 5-6 mins. Us grinders, who have been up since Sunday Warm-up, cherish our breaks.

if youre playing a 5 minute blinds 1500 chip turbo thats worth $160 you shouldnt have to miss break or miss /400 level...........

if you are sitting at 25/50 with 35 seats, your ranges should change drastically if 30-50 are all shorter or deeper relative to the blinds and your stack

simple to fix, lotta regs and recs would appreciate it (recs probably watch lobbies near bubbles more than regs do)

Last year we had those 11$ pca sats with 10seats gtd on a sunday. I doubt there was overlay and we had that 10times. That means 100 11$ qualifiers at the pca. Why didnt you guys do it this year it would mean that every table at the pca has one 11$sat winner at every starting table. Its not like the pca doesnt need more fish because its a kinda tough field.

can we have 55fo and 82fo turbo sats to this sunday's 500 milly? and maybe some 5r 2xts as well, i only see a bunch of 3r 3xts in the lobby atm.

For ANZPT Sydney and Sydney, the sats available at the moment are an $82 2r1a and a $22 3x turbo

Microstakes players with some sense of bankroll management arn't going to bother satting into these for $1-5 since the target sat will work out way too expensive.

If the 109s don't generate enough seats make it $2>$22>215>2k mainevent

Like wise for aussie millions make it 2>22>215>700>10k mainevent

For live events I think 3x turbos and 2rebuy 1 add on sats are not appealing.
