Exactly, he was supposed to be amazing. Not just another guy on the team.

It's semi interesting how in the EU cars are much more likely to be debadged, esp from the manufacturer, which is basically unheard of in the US. Quite the opposite, as we have badges for every single trim model you can buy and the more you spend the sexier sounding and shinier looking badge you get on your car.

latest one is not as good as the last one, but it comes pretty damn close.

Saw the preview for the next episode and almost had a heartattack.

Is there any real effective way of dealing with lazy pieces of **** roommates (aside from moving out of course)? Even though I haven't confronted them about this yet, I'm making it very clear in other ways that I don't appreciate being the only one who cleans up, they really don't seem to care.

It's not like we're a bunch of 18yos, we're all pushing 30. Maybe they just don't have the dignity/self respect gene? I don't get it, but it's really starting to piss me off.

Edit: I think they may resent me b/c they work a ****ty nightshift job and I obv don't do any work and just sit around masturbating all day (ie prolly their perception of this poker thing).

Towelie: Whenever my son leaves stuff laying around (shoes, socks, dishes or whatever), we simply put it on his bed. Regardless of where his mess was, it ends up on his bed for him to deal with.

Seems to work at least from a clutter standpoint.

Confront them about it. Life's too short to not say what's on your mind, especially when it comes to where you and how you live.

If they don't care enough to clean up, I take that as a hint they don't care what happens to their stuff. So, every time I was cleaning up, I'd do it with a garbage bag and throw everything that isn't suppose to be where it is, in the bag.

When I was in university I was in a co-op semester and working during reading week. So, my 3 roommates were all leaving for a week and I was staying behind. The kitchen was a mess, and I told them to clean up their mess before they left. One guy didn't. So, I broke into his room, and stored the dirty dishes on his bed. A week and a bit later, it was pretty nasty when he got back.

towlie your friends are just smarter than you that's all, don't be upset

if you clean up then the place only becomes messy again pretty quickly

don't clean up - end result is the same

my logic is flawless, tyvm

towelie u live in freddy just spring for the $200/month and get yourself a ballin' ass bachelor pad

just talk to them about it, don't know your friends but ime but my last 2 non poker roommates seem to resent me for it and expect me to do all their dishes etc since i play poker, which i can understand from their point of view even though it is bs. anyways i am kind of a vaj with this stuff altho the guys i've dealt with in these spots are usually insanely sensitive about it. after going through all the roommate stuff with some of my best friends, i can count the people i'd be willing to live with long term on one hand.

So you're willingly cleaning up after your roomates and you don't voice your displeasure about it? Seems like a great set up for your roomies, why the hell would they start cleaning after themselves?
11-30-2009 , 10:48 PM
Tell them to start cleaning or you are hiring a maid they can either: a) help pay for; b) you will steal enough food from them to make up the difference.
