Agree with CJS. Attempted murder is worse than accidentally killing someone.

Apparently he was 'a stand-up guy having a bad day'. WTF kind of a ruling is that??

Jason Campbell is not a bad QB... I think the system he is in and the many he has had to learn kinda screw up his learning curve. That and the fact that his Offensive Line doenst seem to be able to stay healthy for a year, are just ingredients for a disaster.

He does look bad at times, but his receivers are over rated, at least Santanna Moss is. Randle el is trash and the Devin thomas and Malcom kelly are young. Cooley has been out and when he has played, has had to block cuz the line sucks. Portis cant stay healthy. And worst of all, the coach is gonna get fired at the end of the season.. WOoohooo another system to learn.....

do the Chargers have any chance at making it deep this year? They can look sooo bad sometimes... and sooo good other times. I hate being a sports fan from San Diego.

At least you all have legit NFL franchises. The Rams showed up one night in the 90's and were big here for oh...2-3 years from 99-01? I'm praying they ship them back to LA tbh. As for the Chargers I don't want to root for them b/c Rivers is a prick. Then I do want to root for them b/c it's another week that Boomer can play the governator soundbite .

I've got about 480ish VPPs to clear at 25NL FR today to hit Goldstar. How close would I need to get for Stars to spot me the rest for not being able to play over Thanksgiving break?

<----Lions fan

Chargers should make a solid run this year, should be something like colts/chargers/pats/bengals for the AFC and I really dont mind SD's chances. They are looking super sexy lately.
11-30-2009 , 03:32 PM
The Chargers will basically just need to outscore whoever they are playing. I don't think they can hang with IND/NE tbh, esp on the road.

Chiren/Athene thread is getting good again for anyone who stopped following it (I know I did). Skip to #776 on page 8 imo.

True. I would much rather play the IND than NE. I don't know what it is but the Chargers seem to play well against the Colts... and not so well against NE. Any given sunday i guess.

October was my worst month EVER until November in which I lost double what I lost in October. This after 5 years of being a consistant winning player.

I'm seriously petrified to play. I tried a little over the weekend. I think I made only one bad/wrong play that I'd like to take back throughout the set and I still lost 10+ BIs.

For those interested, I'm stuck 150+ BIs (mix of STTs, 45 & 180s)

When will it end?

Kev,
Pick one discipline and stick with it until you've got your confidence back.
Its so much easier to find the problem when you focus on one game. The differences between 45s and 180s are subtle and I think you'll right your issues much faster if you focus your energies on only one for a while.

and fwiw I dropped 150BI or so at 180s a while back ground out and am now working on a new ~100BI. It's the nature of the beast.

Sounds like my summer. FWIW - Oct/Nov has been one of my best stretches ever. So it does end eventually.

Sick game.

Think it's pretty much standard you need to pay yourself like quarterly MINIMUM time span to guarantee you are actually getting paid! Preferrably have 6 months to live on. Dunno how the hell higher stakes players cope! Must have like $250k rolls or suffink.

Just hope you have a ridiculously monster 6 months mate.

Second tiebreak is division record (only used against teams in your division): That gets them past HOU, but possibly just a tie with Jax.

Third is Conference record: All 6 titan losses are in conference. This kills them against BAL, DEN.

The Titans need to run the table and get help, its an awful long shot.
That's a very good point. I don't really follow the AFC in that much detail, but I don't think the Jets can sustain a string of games to really bust them into the playoffs, and the Steelers and Broncos would both have to fall pretty hard in the next month for the Titans to have a legit shot, but either way they're gonna be a fun team to watch.

The Skins have sort of been a mess the last few years. Portis hasn't been the same since his preseason injury a few years ago, and the O-Line hasn't really been that solid lately. I don't think Campbell gets a pass, he does hold on to the ball too long, but I think if he was in a system that didn't need to rely on his arm as much he could be adequate. But there really aren't THAT many teams that are in dyer need of a QB. STL, OAK maybe, CAR or SEA would be interesting for him. I'm just most curious how this coming draft will be, mainly to see where Locker, Keenum, Bradford and McCoy go, and Tebow just because it's fun to saw Tebow-Time.

Chargers can take the division and still lose in the first round to any AFC Wild Card team, be it PIT, DEN. Their only AFC wins this year have come against KC, OAK and they split with DEN, so I wouldn't really see them going that deep in the playoffs

I'm still not sold on DEN.

I think SD gets through DEN but not PIT/BAL/CIN. Then they lose to whoever they play in the 2nd round.

Really don't see how its not IND or NE in the Superbowl from the AFC
