Look, in any community there are standards of acceptable behavior that are going to be one size fits all with the hope that the group will have the best overall experience. Granted that may not be fair, but life often isn't.

If the community has a whole thinks we should have gender specific restrooms and locker rooms in schools, I don't see how saying use the one that matches your genitalia is a civil rights violation. We are talking about kids here. We don't let them drive, drink, smoke, enter into contracts, etc.

The parallels are still the same. Both groups are in the minority and both can be argued that their conditions are innate. Both can also find ways to deal with the situations.

I don't see why trans people get special privilege here. Every argument made for trans people to use a bathroom due to their comfort is the same if they used the other bathroom. If they aren't in there to see genitalia and perv out (which they aren't), they should be fine with walking into either bathroom stall and using the toilet. If I had an emergency and had to use a women's bathroom, I'd run into the stall and close the door and do what I had to do.
