My post was just laughing at exactly what you posted. You are laughing at a headline that has been pretty well supported since Obama's election. ie - its the usual Bahhah laughing at facts.

They are probably the biggest center of hate on the internet. I've gone on there to just marvel at the hate and the paranoid race based theories and the junk "science" and "history".

One thing I have learned is that they hate Jews more than blacks. I mean, the stuff they say is so out of this world cooky that you have to see it to believe it exists.

In regards to the topic at hand, the site would definitely be a bellwether wrt developments on the far right. When they start sniffing around the Tea Party and Rand Paul it means something. Not to start a paranoid theory of my own, but to say that these groups are forever shut off from growth and from entry into the legitimate political arena is fantasy. They are there, waiting for the political center to crumble, just like the nazis in the Weimar republic.

I don't see how this relates to my post that you quoted. My post was making fun of a site for saying: 1) we have had explosive growth and 2) that obama should be given any credit for economic growth.

I wasn't even thinking about how they refereed to obama as "America’s first black president". Not sure why the issue of race came up as I never said anything about it.

The explosive growth was in reference to hate groups and maybe other groups that the SPLC tracks, not to the economy. Obama, according to SPLC, is not given credit for economic growth, but can be anticipated to be blamed by hate groups for the lack of economic growth.

I thought you knew that, and so I thought you were dismissing the idea that we have had explosive growth in racist groups. So I referenced the timid but present fondness of the pure hate groups for the Tea Party, which is already known to be quite racist, as perhaps more visible (though indirect) evidence of the general attitude shift to the extreme within a portion of the right.
