I think the site is back up but my tournament said "suspended by host"
10-16-2013 , 04:58 AM
HEY we are back IN

The new tourny director tho I must say is awesome. He's prolly the only reason I've stayed with the site. He actually will speak individually with anyone whose having problems that aren't being resolved by the normal customer support people. Several times now I've gone to him after being left wanting to slit my wrist after talking to one of the chat robots who act like there's never any problems and "everything's been resolved" etc. I badly want this site to be fully functional because it has tons of potential but every night this crap happens it just does more an more irreparable damage and drives people away who will probably never come back and scares off just as many prospective players thinking about opening an account. I really feel bad for the people like winning_td that work there that are fully devoted to making this site better because it's not their fault whatsoever but something has got to be done. It's just too damn tilting when your playih and all hell breaks loose with the software and servers every 3rd or 4th night.

Plus before my unsuccessful log in attempts that security certificate thing pops up and it's dialog box is RIGHT BEHIND the log in box so u can't see it unless u move the other one.....

This is really getting comical. Anytime I actually can log into my client an REGISTER for a tourney I feel like I just won the lottery twice, while getting struck by lightning and standing at the end of a rainbow with 9 hookers and a kilo of blow.
I think it has to do with your operating system or browser/security settings. Because I always have that same issue with my older desktop that is 32 bit Vista....while never having any problem with my newer laptop that is 64 bit Windows 7. With my desktop I gave up trying to reconfigure it for ACR and just go through all the 'yes' to security certificate thingys and task manager. But with my laptop I never see any of those security pop ups.

Otherwise I love ACR best for all the American facing sites.

NO, nothing whatsoever. Is that because they have no answer because nothing has really got fixed. I dunno maybe. Any other site would at least acknowledge the disasters and send out an email to everyone. Hell whenever Bovada has a problem usually with their sportsbook on super busy nites, they'll credit anyone who was trying to make a bet just for the inconvenience. ACR needs to have a big freeroll or something to show they actually give a sht about us
Do you think they really wanna send out an email that reads: We apologize for the interruption in service but we've been hacked yet again. We've tried to improve service by removing the vulnerabilities that exist in our software, however it appears that they've found yet another way in.

We hope that we are able to avoid future incidents of this nature but we cannot guarantee that. However, one thing you should all know is, we will NEVER use your funds in order to meet the demands of the hackers.

I play on BCP now, but tried on ACR after a restart of client and of desktop. Anyone else currently experience the same issue?
I see others are having similar problems. I am getting the security pop up where the banner on the bottom of the client is normal advertising too.

Has anyone fixed this problem yet?

After seeing how many people were on last night and having waiting lists up to 10 people on the cash game tables from everyone trying to tame the beast is it possible that the reason the server keeps going down due to heavy traffic and acr not having the right servers to deal with this traffic?

can't log in, type in password, can't click log in, enter does nothing

I had this same issue. I was able to drag the site login box away, revealing the security certificate error popup. I think I clicked on 'more info' or 'details' from here, then there was an option to install the security certificate.
After doing this, i was able to login.

Hope this helps

I was in the $12,500 GTD and the $4,000 GTD 6-max that were cancelled.
10-16-2013 , 08:32 PM
What the ****!!! 39 left in the 6max and it gets shut down???!!! This is infuriating. Especially because I know I will not be compensated correctly.
10-16-2013 , 08:32 PM
so when should we expect refunds :/
10-16-2013 , 08:32 PM
5k was also cancelled wtf
10-16-2013 , 08:33 PM
I think I got my refunds instantly
10-16-2013 , 08:35 PM
I'm not gonna play on here for the first 3 days of the beast anymore. I think that seems to have sparked these shutdowns. (I'll look into this when I'm on less tables)
