Its just crazy no one really helps you. I own a few businesses if i ran a site like this i would comp everyone to stay on the site or shut the thing down until i can get it right

Unless those businesses are distributing crack or something else of dubiously legality to a very willing market with few competitors it's not really comparable. If I ran this business I would do whatever the **** I want.

By witnessing the drops and specifically what drops and what doesn't drop, I can tell WPN has an architectural problem.

Maybe, it's legacy code, IDK, but their system is built vertically (big machines, brute force, sumo wrestler) (old way/limited scalability) rather than horizontally (small machines, highly efficient, bruce lee) (modern way/unlimited scalability).

Putting two and two together, this is why they're pushing so hard for the new version. It's going to be API-driven, which is critical for horizontal architecture. In theory it'll be much, much easier to manage and scale. Plus, it'll be much, much harder to attack.
Actually, it is most definitely black and white. I take it you are either an engineer, IT buff, or student. This is about capably running a business. The first MDS game cancelled was years ago from this nonsense. YEARS. It doesn't take years to rebuild a system. To spend two seconds on creating some gimmicky avatars while this issue should have had all possible hands involved working on it is an example of the poor management.

A business sells and markets their product for a profit. The product is little more than a widget in design. Their widget is not properly functioning due to design flaws. Instead of completely rebuilding the product from ground up, the company adds on various bells and whistles. The problem is the core entity is still flawed. Simple things like competent customer service reps does not take f'n years to find; yet, they still seem to hire the neurologically deceased to handle the phones. email, or live chat support. The IT or R&D people seem to be equally as incompetent.

If it is a traffic issue, then get more powerful servers. If the software is faulty, rewrite it from scratch. Rebuild the entire infrastructure from scratch if needed. They crush most of the GTDs There is plenty of demand for the product. The only logical reason that these issues aren't addressed is management has very little business experience. The people responsible for the issues that are failing would have been fired a long time ago in any of our companies or invested interests.

The only competent people I've experienced have been the reps here. I have not heard back from either since I first mentioned the bonus not being credited correctly in July. The root problem is in how to properly run a business. It is not the software, hardware, or anything else. It isn't rocket science. They are probably also handcuffed by the Khanawake, too.

I think this happens if you have not closed the pop up that appears when you register the tournament. After you close it, you should be able to re-enter.

Which, oddly enough, is the same amount of concern I got back when I emailed support and security.

I've been a long term supporter/defender of the site, here and in private leagues. It has gotten to the point where it is just too f'n irritating and a waste of time and money to bother with. Earlier this afternoon I tried to re-enter a tournament and the button was not live. I wouldn't have made the f'n call if I knew I was unable to rebuy. Pissed away $50 there for no goddamn reason, the **** adds up.

Customer support is entirely in their control, as is network control and equipment. You cannot really fault them for the software as it is licensed from IG Soft and they service more than just WPN. I am furious at the bs I have to go through and the loss of earnings/bonuses. Although it appears like it, I'm not hating on them, just irate that such nonsense continues to occur over such a long period of time. Alien avatars, hole cards, SNG 5.9, etc... are all pointless if the games do not stay running.

There is a simple reason this never happens, it costs money... When companies are bringing in lots of 0s every week cutting into that by large amounts to make the product better never happens... is it bad business? yup, is it bad logic? yup, do you have to invest in a proper business plan to reach your peak? yup... But this week has proven that investing that money is a waste because they can just save the money and people will just keep playing...

Is anyone having issues registering for Mtts? When I click on the register button i do not get the normal next pop up that shows but in and asks you to confirm registration.

Yes. Currently in two tourneys, but havent been able to reg anything else for 45 min now. Tried logging out and back in twice.
