yeah, before reg closes everyone gets refunded. after reg closes its by chip stack to remaining players, when itm, everyone left gets the current payout and then remaining prizepool by chipstack.

It's really upsetting that in my tourney we were TWO minutes before registration closed, on a 5 hour late registration tourney. That is just... beyond tolerance.

They should really consider compensating everyone that is in the money. I had good advantage when this attack happens and now I have nothing. This is not fair!

You will get an ICM chop as if you're ITM late registration is over. This will give people with more chips more money. It's not perfect but at least it takes that into account

In one of the first Million Dollar Sundays I had 4 bullets refunded (2160) when it was canceled. I was not even aware of the issues as I had busted my last bullet before they occurred. It was nice logging in a few days later and seeing the 2k+ there.

Regular Tournaments with Open Late Registration
All players will be fully refunded.

Bounty Knockout Tournaments with Open Late Registration
All players will be fully refunded, excluding their bounty.

Regular Tournaments with Closed Late Registration
Remaining players will receive the amount of one buy-in and fee. The prizepool will be distributed among remaining players by chip count. Busted players will not be refunded. Guarantees will be fully paid.

Bounty Knockout Tournaments with Closed Late Registration
Remaining players will receive the amount of one buy-in and fee and their bounty. The prizepool will be distributed among remaining players by chip count. Busted players will not be refunded. Guarantees will be fully paid.

In The Money Regular Tournaments
Remaining players will receive the amount of the next not paid award. The prizepool will be distributed among remaining players by chip count. Busted players will not be refunded. Guarantees will be fully paid.

In The Money Bounty Knockout Tournaments
Remaining players will receive the amount of the next not paid award and their bounty. The prizepool will be distributed among remaining players by chip count. Busted players will not be refunded. Guarantees will be fully paid.

In The Money Satellites
Remaining players will receive the amount of the buy-in and fee of the target tournament, converted to real money. Busted players will not be refunded. Guarantees will be fully paid.

SNG Tournaments with All Starting Players
All players will be fully refunded.

Regular SNG Tournaments with Busted Players
Remaining players will receive the amount of the buy-in and fee. The prizepool will be distributed among remaining players by chip count. Busted players will not be refunded.

Heads Up Rematch Tournaments
Both players in a Heads Up Rematch tournament will be refunded only for their latest Heads Up Rematch, which is played at the moment of canceling the tournament.

Yea but I was in a pretty good spot for cashing and maybe final table. This is called opportunity cost and they should refund that too. I am just stating with 25 level late reg this is not fair.

Maybe don't run tournaments until you have a legit solution in place?

It doesn't matter- that is the policy and always has been the policy. That's the added DDOS Variance. Maybe next time you will have already busted and get your buyin back.

So I think somebody asked earlier what the people behind it are getting from this? How about play incredibly LAG trying to get a ton of chips early with multiple rebuys.. If not? Just DDOS and get your money back

If the policy changed to no matter when the tournament is cancelled, they award the money based on how many chips the REMAINING players have left.. I think that would work better
