How are things looking today? Thinking of firing up a session on Mac. Please no sarcastic/trolly answers. I just want the straight dope before I put my biscuits in play.

Playing the currently in progress $16.50 PLO MTT, TID 6054031, had all 4 tables open on the bubble, I cash, I click to x out of 1 of the tables open, all 4 tables including my table close. No big deal because I just re-opened it, but weird glitch nonetheless. On Mac client.

Interesting that we had table popups announcing an emergency server shut down at 1:30 pm est today. 1:30 as come and gone at the games that were in progress are still running.

The announcement served to basically create a cage matches of the games in progress. Since the shut down has not occurred we have not seen a popup informing us of anything.

Once again one hand doesn't know what the other is doing.

Anybody have an update on when the server will be back up?

The sng I played in went "on break", because of the site having maintenance right now I guess... will the sng proceed when the site is back on or will I get my buy-in back?

I was checking the MTT lineup on Americas Cardroom around 1000 US eastern time, and everything went blank. The lobby was still there, but clicking the Tournament or SNG tabs just got me an empty box. At that time, cash games were still running. I watched a few hands to make sure.

Now everything is down. I clicked on Tournaments, Casinos, Jackpots, Sports, and there was no response. It doesn't show empty boxes now, it's just frozen. I can click anything in the main lobby and there will be no response.

It's been 2.5 hours since everything went down, it would be nice to hear something from ACR/WPN.

Something might be happening. I still can't click on anything and get a response, but there are signs of life. In the main lobby the totals for The Beast and Sit and Crush are now increasing.

I planned my day around playing the a Big Ten Tournament at 1400 US eastern time, 11 minutes from now. Not looking good right now.

TD, can we get some kind of update or announcement of when everything will be back up?

How long are we going to put up with this bs???? Its literally every week with this site!
I joined a 60$ hu earlier win and didnt receive my money go to chat tell them about it and they say they escalated it, give them 20 minutes, well 3 hours later money is still not in my account. Im playing a 240 heads up the guy has less than 200 chips left the site pops up and says sorry we are shutting down...... Now there is about $360 missing from my account. We deserve better than this! You literally have to check your balance after every game to make sure the money was put back in your account, its ridiculous.

My biggest concern is, they are profiting a large sum of money from their sites inadequacies. Essentially they pocket the buy in of every person who had already been eliminated from the tournament. They stand to gain a large amount of money from these site crashes, it is no wonder why they are so frequent.

You are incorrect, you should read the Tournament Cancellation Policy more closely: https://www.americascardroom.eu/poke...cellationrules

The word "unacceptable" doesn't begin to describe how bad this is. For some reason I've been putting up with it for five years, and I've heard all the reasons and excuses that the site goes down: server problems, attacks, maintenance, etc. FIVE YEARS!

Playing poker tournaments is my job. I've been trying to be a full-time player for the last few years, but it never quite worked out. A lot of things got in the way. Most recently I wound up being a caregiver for a family member for most of the last two years. Now that's done.

Finally, I was ready to go for it! Nothing was standing in my way. This week, I could finally do what I've been trying to do for so long.

I looked at the schedule this morning and decided that I was going to play a Big Ten tournament at 2 P.M. I told my wife that so she would know what my plans were for today. Shortly thereafter, the tournaments were all down.

If I had to guess how many times I've had to deal with lagging, freezing and crashing, I would put it around 50.

I wish there were better options out there. I won't go to Bovada because I can't use a HUD there. I'm an American so that kills a lot of options. Frankly, I'm tired of all of the poor choices, but for various reason, I always thought that this site was the best out of a group of bad options, if they would only solve the technical problems.

So, here I am, trying to figure out what to do next. Move most of my play to the local charity poker rooms with a 20% rake and tournaments no bigger than 60 players? That would really suck because my specialty is long deepstack tournaments. In the last week on Americas Cardroom I've had finishes of 73rd of 1,110 and 2nd of 116.

I could drive several days a week to the nearest casino that deals poker tournaments--which wouldn't be a great option even if we had more than one vehicle, because it's 100 miles away.

I'm angry, I'm discouraged and I don't know what to do or say any more. This has been going on for five years. FIX IT!!

Wow Khan makes an appearance...

Gets popcorn.

It's been more than 24 hours and tournaments are still down. Are we going to be informed by the tournament director or anyone else as to what's going on?

^^ not sure which tournaments you mean?

Everything is showing as normal

Nothing came back for me when the tournaments went down. I uninstalled and reinstalled ACR and now I have everything back.

so, haven't played on ACR in months... Decided to deposit today. I can't even play at the poker tables. The software is lagging SO bad. The action will freeze for a solid minute, then all streamline, real fast. and before I know it I am sitting out. I've already lost multiple BB's because of disconnects. Is there some type of 'lag fix', like their is for ignition? This is unacceptable!!! is it always this bad?
11-12-2016 , 08:21 PM
It's terrible right now.
11-12-2016 , 08:21 PM
I'll be playing the rest of my tournaments on Ignition tonight.

Had some tournament/connectivity issues today. Tournaments were freezing and when a rebooted the client or restarted my computer the tables would not open. I'm connected to the site no problem (able to check balance, go to rewards etc.).

When it happened earlier I had a set of 7 tournaments up. I was originally told that I could not be refunded because the problem was with my ISP and not on there end (how?). Finally got a supervisor on the phone who credited me the buy-ins as a one-time courtesy, but it would not happen again.

Loaded a test set and had no problems, so played another full set just now. Again the same thing happened at the end of my set, but only affected 3 of them. I was told that, because the problem "is not on the ACR's end" they don't have a solution. My internet is fine, I can connect to the site - so how is this not a poker client issue? I'm a fairly high volume jackpot player, so it's pretty concerning to have these issues and be told that I'm screwed if it continues.

I'm having major issues right now. Appears to not be site wide. I am able to login and navigate the lobby, when I try to open a table it says "connected- resolving server name"
definitely costing me a lot of money sigh
11-13-2016 , 07:14 PM
having same issue. steam!
11-13-2016 , 07:14 PM
I can't freaking get into my tournaments. Internet working perfectly
