talk about hitting the nail on the head. amateur hour 100%.. sure google and plenty of other companies experience DDOS attacks, but they either have backup servers to rely on or bring in the people to fix the issue pronto. I don't think Ignition is behind this tho, that's some conspiracy theory stuff IMO..

I used to play here a few years ago and just started again last week. How prevalent is this? Is there anything you can do to stop it from happening? How long are the tourneys usually suspended for?

**** like this makes me so annoyed. They should change the LATE REGISTRATION to only 15 LEVELS. 25 LEVELS is BEYOND RIDICULOUS. I'd be less annoyed since tourneys would finish a lot faster without worrying about this garbage.

it takes a minute for the protection to detect the attack and mitigate it. In that minute players can get timed out. This is why we implemented the 90 second disconnection time bank.

Wow and they still haven't figured out how to fix it? I honestly have no idea what DDOS even means so kinda a nub here.

Main question though, how long does this take for them to fix it, if they can?

MTTS are suspended at the moment, we have a 30 min time frame. If it goes over 30 mins they get cancelled as per terms and conditions.

Hopefully we will be running before that, as soon as I have info ill post.
