No more free champs in ranked is huge, too.

And a little bit sad about the nerf to my cow. Just got used to playing Ali and his sustain got snipped. On the flip side, easier to pull off that W Q combo.

Thats probably a big enough buff to raise his win% by 1-2%

That heal nerf won't counter the WQ buff

Didn't need the buffering to get off WQ, even though I am not even close to being a good player. Would hit it a minimum of 4 out of 5 attempts.
The E cooldown does hurt a fair bit in laning phase vs double ranged.

Holy hell Ryze is going to be strong as **** now. Level 6 Ryze having a 50s cooldown on his ult seems ridiculous.

Ye but he used to be able to cast way more than 5 spells with his passive...

think he's going to be 40% winrate

I have a friend who fails the combo 9/10 times, so I'm happy.

That patch is so random, like they take 20 dmg here and there from all metachamps and don't buff a single non-meta champ like wtf.

Small samples but doesn't seem too bad, kog is one I wonder base stat nerfs tend to matter more than ability numbers

I'm someone who's never watched or played LoL. Would someone recommend a game or two for me to watch on Twitch or YouTube that fits below criteria:

-Good, informative/educational casting.
-Good game to watch as a beginner/entertaining game.
-Recognizable players or teams. Maybe a game involving a matchup of two of the best players or best teams. I'm generally aware of popular teams from Hearthstone.

If you're interested in learning I'd say start playing so you have atleast somewhat of an idea of what's going in the videos you'd be watching.

You can go on twitch and search Riot Games and they'll have all the LCS games on there to watch. They'll give commentary on some of the stuff the players do etc.

The other thing that's helpful is talking to 2p2'ers about spots too. There's a lot of sicko players here too.

Watching a pro game might not lend itself as the best introduction to the game. I don't know where would be best to start, but I feel like you'd be better off watching someone's personal stream who talks about the game as he/she plays.

I'd highly recommend watching from one person's perspective in solo queue as opposed to watching a team of 5 vs team of 5.

Ok, every Cait I've seen goes Hurricane. I feel like that item sucks ass. I haven't played her much since the change but I have a hard time believing it's better than Firecannon. Thoughts? Seems like just a ****tier wannabe Kogmaw build.

I usually go RFC. Plat+ builds on champions.gg go it too.

C9 vs AHQ from World Championship 2015

This match features ahq Westdoor, a Fizz main who at one point was number one on Korean, NA, and Taiwan solo queue ladders, versus C9 Incarnati0n, now known as Jensen and formerly number one on the European solo queue ladder, playing Veigar in the mid lane. C9 Hai is the former mid laner who was forced off the team due to poor performances, but had to step in as the jungler when the team collapsed in his absence, so he's very inexperienced in that role.

No that game is not educational, that game was one of the worst outdrafts at worlds were the game was over in champselect.

Do you want to play the game or only watch it? Even if you only watch it, it's gonna be hard to understand what's going on if you have never played it as you won't have the understanding of what abilities really do.

To add, as others already pointed out watching competitive isn't really helpful, it plays fundamentally different than SoloQ. You won't really understand whats going on by just watching, by playing you actually get a feeling of how much damage a champion deals, what your winconditions are etc.

Even a lot of the casters get specific matchups wrong, simply because like half of them are not very good at the game.

If you start playing, make sure that you don't simply play, but rather learn. Check on the wikipages what other champions do, maybe even make notes to yourself. It might sound stupid, but it accelerates your learningcurve. It takes quite a lot of time to really understand the game, there are a lot of champions and even after a year playing you can get suprised by a champions dmg when you have rarely played against it. Hell this even happens to pros.

I assume it gives more headshot procs, so does have synergy

The game is educational for that reason. A lot of games have a bunch of different things going on, a few throws, and drag on endlessly which doesn't provide clear lessons.
