Well don't worry, they took 'wrestling' out of the name of the show you're watching a few years ago. You can quit this.

Yup, the eventual New Day face turn was bound to be aids...They are already starting to be unbearable, although i'm not sure how long they would hav elasted as heels either

Why exactly is Strowman out of developmental? They sent KENTA, Prince Devitt, and Shinsuke Nakamura to NXT to learn the WWE style, but Strowman doesn't need to learn anything besides a shoulder pinch? Seriously, a shoulder pinch! That move wouldn't go over in the 50s and Strowman is using it now.

I get the thinking behind a Strowman/Ambrose match--WWE needs to show that Ambrose is a threat to a larger opponent. But why Strowman, a person who can't wrestle and who nobody cares about? Why not Luke Harper or some other guy who can actually work?

Im reading the results and im just amazed how little effort they're putting into this

No matter how many times h wants to say ratings don't matter and no matter how much Vince wants this to be an entertainment company and not a wrestling company and no matter how much they're making in things that aren't direct raw gate the fact remains that every single source of income the wwe has is directly impacted by the success or failure of raw. Even if the former takes a while to be reflected by the latter, inevitably it will be reflected

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Watch your tounge, mister. No one did the trapezius nerve hold like Mr. Fuji.

Zack Ryder and Sin Cara have an IC title shot at WM. Ryback has a singles match. Usos vs Dudleys.

I've got nothing.

New Day didn't even turn; they just started feuding with heels. Unless now being generally poor constitutes a face turn.

They seem to have stopped taking shots at the cities they're in. Otherwise it's true that not much has changed in their overall character, though they're becoming harder to enjoy.

On that subject sometimes I wonder about the method of taking shots at the city they are in as a villain tactic on a national or global TV show. Most of the people watching the show aren't from that area, so although it gets some rather cheap boos in the arena, much of the home audience will agree with the criticisms and/or find them funny.

Fan video of the post-Raw dark match. Right at the beginning of the video, Luke Harper goes down holding his ankle and is later helped to the back. Hope he's just selling again and it's nothing serious.

Also, at about 1:23, a fan attacks Braun Strowman. Props to Braun for just calmly alerting security, but part of me wishes we had a Gregor Clegane/Oberyn Martell reenactment there.

I saw a picture of the trainer with Harper prior to seeing this video and was reserving judgment but he looks to be in a helluva lot of pain. Big guys do not take leg injuries well.

edit: finishing video and ****ing Braun comes about two inches from landing on the poor guy. ****ing Braun. fire him.

Yeah, I'm sure I've said it a number of times, but it's very stupid for TV and should purely be a house show thing, especially taking shots at the local sports teams.

I actually give him credit handling both incidents the way he did. Obviously the superkick was a planned spot and there wasn't supposed to be anyone on the floor behind him so that was good awareness even if he did sell both that and the fan issue awkwardly. Two things he didn't expect in 30 seconds and he got them both right.

Yeah I'm in the stupid for TV camp other than if it would generate nuclear arena heat that will translate to TV. That's completely missing today.

Frankly and more generally I don't get why people pay $$$ to not get into the show, but to be fair the show (writers and performers both) has a responsibility to generate crowd reaction, and no one has that ability anymore.

I will walk my comment back as far as to say that I don't want to live in a world where Rocky didn't once cause the city of Sacramento to lose their **** at "I'll be sure to come back when the Lakers beat the Kings in May."

But most sports-inspired trolling is just too hackish and obvious to the live crowd to actually cause a massive reaction like that.

It was a planned spot. But he clearly knew Harper was badly hurt before taking the spot. A seasoned vet would've set themselves to go through the ropes where Rowan was because there was no follow-up from the face to Braun. Braun just walked back.

This is true. But a seasoned vet this guy is not.

It's lowest common denominator booking at its finest. I'm just glad they didn't go the "Country Music Sucks" route when they were in Nashville a couple weeks ago. They went all in on it the previous trip to Nashville, and it screamed of lazy writing. Terrible.
