Doubt Brock cares at all as long as he's paid.

Yeah, I mean as much as I don't want to see Reigns over Brock, I'd certainly hope Brock would do it if asked. He needs to pay off the push he's gotten by putting someone over on the way out; ideally it would have been Daniel Bryan, but it doesn't seem like that's in the cards unless Brock signs another contract to stay longer.

Are you kidding me? "Entertain Owens Entertain" has a better chance of catching on. That has no ring to it at all.

Dids, your credentials are unlimited.

In some areas.

Your write ups are legendary.

But I've always wanted to ask you one question: who are you to ever tell me about wrestling? It's like when all those 9 to 5 lifer nothings with fat wives try and tell Peyton Manning or Tom Brady how to quarterback a football game.

So I'm here to challenge you to match. At the 5 minute mark of a match with me, you will be so blown up that kids in the audience will be saying "Please mommy, I want that balloon!", so let's have ourselves an escalator match. Tables, Ladders, Chairs, Stairs and Escalators! Why reach for that brass ring when you can just ride Vince McMahon's escalator to the top without ever having to even move your legs. That's how Roman Reigns did it. And that's how I'm going to do it.

I want this less than it staying on Brock or Roman having it for the same reasons- I just want more interesting storylines. Cena as champ sure isn't interesting because there's a pretty limited number of people they'll let go over him. Somebody like Roman, I think there's just more folks who can get a spotlight and do something compelling.

I'm also just interested to see how Roman is when he comes back. To me, the things that were bad about his matches are pretty easily correctable if somebody is aware enough to think that needs to happen.

Meh; I just want the world champion to be great at a minimum of one of the two major things WWE wrestlers have to do (wrestling and talking). As much as I dislike most of his material, Cena is an elite talker. Daniel Bryan struggles pretty hard on the mic at this point, but obviously he's virtually unrivaled in the ring.

Reigns not doing either of those things at even an above-average level leaves little reason for hope. Just in terms of overness, the WWE hasn't really gotten the go-ahead from the crowd to make Reigns the very top guy in the company. They got it with Cena, they got it with Bryan...yes Reigns is over to a reasonable extent, but he's not #1 in the company over, and it seems like they're just going to put him on the WM booking track anyway just based on the hope that the crowd will embrace it rather than the reasonable knowledge that they will.

WWE just has no ability anymore to organically build a guy so that their push is in reasonable flow with how the crowd feels about him. Instead they do a bunch of hotshotting **** that harms the product. If they want to earmark Reigns as a future world champ, okay, but don't cross the point of no return until you're sure you have the majority of the crowd behind him.

I agree that they have to think about storyline implications when making decisions but it seems Reigns would be something like a Poor Man's Super Cena as champ. Poor because Cena is better than he is. Super because he probably would get booked even stronger than Cena in terms of winning etc.

They don't organically build stars because they are F'n clueless. Nobody wants to see a face just dominate to the top without any struggle.
Dominating to the top very quickly worked for Lesnar and Sheamus but they were booked as monster heels.

WWE has a new star to replace Cena and that's Cesaro. He needs to tone down his strangeness a little bit but other than that he has it all -- the look, the mic skills and the in ring talent.
And Dean Ambrose is outselling Cena on Black Friday. His shirt was #1 seller, with the WWE monoploy game a close second and Cena merch a distant 3rd. If Cesaro was face he'd be up there with Ambrose.

Listen to the fans and start building Ambrose for 2016 to really build him. Let 2015 be Cesaro year. Lesnar can fight Cesaro at Mania and lose to him. Then the next night on RAW, Rollins can cash in MITB. And now you've got a classic Cesaro vs Rollins summer long feud. Oh man the matches those two can put on. Then call up Sami Zayn to challenge Cesaro at Summerslam. That would be the best title match since Cena vs HBK in London. Finish the year with a Bryan/Rollins/Cesaro/Ambrose feud.

2015 - Year of Cesaro/Rollins/Bryan
2016 - Year of Ambrose/Zayn/Rollins/Cesaro/Bryan
2017 - Year of more talent

WM31
Lesnar vs Cesaro (Main Event Title)
Rollins vs Ambrose vs Reigns
Undertaker vs Sting
Hluk Hogan vs Rusev
HHH vs Orton vs Batista
The Rock vs Cena III

Now that is a real mania. But they are too foolish to book events. If real WWE fans ran the company it would be worth billions.

They don't know how to use talent. Cesaro, Rollins, Ambrose, Bryan, Zayn are the top 5 that need to be built up more in 2015.

You're probably trolling as usual but that match wasn't for the belt. Irregardless, even if it was for the belt, there have been better ones since.

i think raw is pretty good (i'm not super advanced in analyzing the matches and how good they are) but i get the feeling that the raw main event has been the same for a couple weeks now. hopefully after TLC they get some fresh stuff in and not the same old 1v1 main event getting out of hand into a brawl (team cena vs team authority)

Well, with the Rumble coming up next month, we should have the "people with a chance to win" getting into a main event brawl every week. So we have that to look forward to.

Rumble should be lots of fun though. It's in Philadelphia.

Won two tickets to the last Raw of the year at the Verizon Center in DC from a radio station yesterday for knowing Alex Riley grew up there locally. Have no idea where the tickets are or if it includes anything else and waiting to hear back from the promotion department. If I get the tickets before hand I may sell them but I think I may not get them until I get to the show. Trying to decide if this Raw will be good. At least I'll miss the stupid Christmas themed one.

I mean "good" is relative, but since the Christmas one might just be some stupid non-canon show like last year, when newly-turned face ADR attacked Santa Claus or whatever, the following show might be the one where they start churning the stories for the Rumble, so it could actually function more like a day-after-PPV Raw than you would otherwise expect.

I had this thought too and Royal Rumble is traditionally my favorite PPV - on a nostalgia level anyway - so it could be cool to see things start for that PPV. Also, Brock Lesnar is (was?) scheduled for this show so it will be cool to see him beat someone up. More I think about it the more I'm leaning towards going. I have a 16 month old and have been out of the house with my wife exactly 2 times with her so if I can get her jazzed up for some wrasslin' we can have another night out, lol.

Edit - Just remembered the last commercial I heard for this on the radio mentioned nothing about Brock but it did say that Cena vs. Rollins would be the main event. But when I go to the verizon center website it says Cena and Orton vs. Rollins and Big Show...gives us a hint on where Orton is heading. Also mentions Lesnar, Edge and Christian.

Just heard the tickets are in section 202, not too shabby. Comparable ones on stubhub are going for 90 to 100. I see WWE also has a show in Richmond this day, but I remember reading that a lot of guys will be making appearances on both shows, as they can get to Richmond to DC in time. Seriously considering selling these to get me 2/3rds of the way to a Winter Classic Ticket...cheapest one on stubhub currently - 338...ugh.

Do you usually like Raw right now? Have you ever seen live WWF/E?

I've been really bad about watching Raw lately but still read about what happens. I have been to a few RAW shows, including the TLC in Baltimore where is was Del Rio vs. Punk for the title. The best part was Ricardo Rodriguez's fall from the top of the ladder to the tables outside. Also worth noting on that show it was the only PPV Cena has missed in years.

I watch all the PPVs, and if it has some RR buildup stuff it could be fun for me.
