His 1994 heel run was great fun.
Backlund vs. Hart on Superstars is a fantastic technical match, and one I remember as a real treat as a kid watching on free TV.

I had forgotten that Jake The Snake actually hit Miss Elizabeth on Tuesday in Texas.

Watching ECW as it happened was an amazing experience. It was like what nirvana was to rock in 1991. Just a once in a generation type experience.

I despised every minute of his comeback from 93 till now, man he was vanilla horrible, I craved him getting beaten up

This segment was an interview with Vince on Raw where Bob explained his previous weeks erratic behaviour (he had started to go crazy and was hurting people)

He proclaimed that no one could get out of his crossfacechicken wing hold and offered to demonstrate it, first on Mcmahon then finally a tiny magazine writer at ringside called Louie came up and he layed it on him...

... and predictably didnt let go, it looked really painful and awesome, really showing how much Backlund had snapped

This mustve been the first time Vince got physically involved in action too (as far as Ive seen so far), he was trying to pull Bob off the hapless scribe

Then everyone including Macho Man ran the ring and pulled him off eventually

I enjoyed Bobs muddled, believably deranged delivery, its a pity Im going to have to actually watch him wrestle soon

I'm pretty sure Vince teamed with Hogan a few times vs Mr. Fuji and George Steele I believe. Early 80's.

Lol really?

Tbf to Bob, he was obviously a great technician, I just hated his style

How he was champ for so long boggles my mind

His ass sticking out and his awkward gait really put me off, as a heel it works though

I thought it was Mean Gene. I distinctly remember a video where Hogan trained Mene Gene. I never remember Vince being physically involved prior to the 90's. He was never acknowledged as anything more than an announcer.

Damn someone please show me a place to watch November to Remember 94 and all other ECW ppv(ish) events before 1997

Theyre not on the network and I suck at internet searching

Sux to get all hyped up about an event watching Hardcore TV then nowhere to watch it

Would be much appreciated anyone!

XWT Classics torrent site. Registration seems to be open atm. If it's not open or you had trouble getting the show, I'd share my account with you. There's only 1 seeder for it but I'm d/l'ing it now to see if it'd work and it does.

Yeah, I remember going to ECW shows and bringing grocery bags for all the events I'd buy . Routinely spent hundreds on tapes at the shows. They usually had every event plus hardcore Japanese promotions (FMW/W*NG).

I wish I could've watched some events live growing up in New Zealand

We had to rely on Superstars of Wrestling late on Friday nights and the local video store stocking the WWF and very few WCW PPVs, that's why the network is so damn awesome to me.

Apart from some key events not being available on there...

Dude how does that site work exactly, I cant find much ECW stuff

I just searched November to Remember 1994 and nothing comes up, ECW 1994 yields like 10 total results

Do you have to get lucky with the time someone has an event to download or something (obv noob)?

Someone has put a request for the event on there and some others, and the note seems like they're desperate and not been able to find it lol

ABD, that link I put up goes to a torrent with what looks like every non PPV "event". Click underneath the file list to see the list of shows. Download that torrent and a listing will come up. Pick whichever shows you want.

Cheers bro that site will come in handy

I enjoyed the loud "Hogan sucks!" chants just before the main event Hogan vs Flair at Halloween Havoc 94

Watched the first Edge and Christian show. I laughed when Vince told Christian that he hates him. "Don't you read the internet?"

The Redemption of Fred Ottman was quality too. Rivals Jake the Snake's story. Poor Shockmaster.

Ashamed to admit this but I laughed a few times during their bad gimmick tournament skit
