It seems like a good time to pull a gimmick like this out, just need a guy with large balls and a good writing team to come up with a script that gets heat but doesnt cross the line

Does anyone know if heels got paid more back then compared to faces?(apart from the top dog like Hogan obv)

Back in the ultra kayfabe world it was actually dangerous to be a heel in most places , I would be suprised if a lot of guys didnt get "danger money" to compensate for the sheer hate they experienced
Ironically, I think he said he used a goat to get that heat while singing La Cucaracha. Or maybe it was a donkey.

WWE would lose all their sponsors if someone said what Piper said about Mr T now. The stock would be used for toilet paper.

I just watched King of the Ring 94

No idea why Roddy fought Lawler as the main event match, I wouldve thought the actual final for the title of King of the Ring, Owen Hart vs Razor Ramon wouldve been it.

I guess Vince thought Hot Rod was a bigger star than both of them

The young Roddy impressionist guy who was at ringside was lol on the previous Raw and before this match, he had Piper's voice mannerisms down pat

And this is the reason why we don't have any real heels in the WWE anymore. Everyone has to be the "cool heel" in order to keep merch sales up

Watched it today while the kid was napping. I had just read the Flair autobiography so a lot of that I was hearing for the second time, however, it was very good.

Sitting with Ric Flair at a bar for a night - and early morning - is certainly a bucket list type of thing for me. Huge fan of his podcast when I get a chance to listen to it.

Been on a kick watching a lot of Beyond the Ring stuff recently in order. Just finished the Pillman doc last night and was kind of disappointed not to learn much new. What's the consensus on what was a work with him, what wasn't, and who he worked. It seems like Bischoff was worked. Foley said the guys in the back didn't even know. Austin seemed to be on the same page with him. What the hell happened in WCW/ECW though?

I read a review from a non wrestling publication basically saying its like an advert for DDP yoga first and foremost, so I'm scared to watch it.

24, the behind the scenes look at WM 31, debuted last night. I think it's a one off special. Haven't seen it yet, but the episode featuring the NXT Brooklyn special was really good.

Tonight is the debut of Ride Along. They put small cameras in the car of Superstars as the ride their rentals between cities. Actually looking forward to it. The Total Divas episode that featured a lot of road trip footage was actually pretty good. But since this show doesn't have to shoe horn some over the top Divas storyline, it should be better (that particular episode had Paige and Foxy have a big fight while Tyson Kidd was embarrassed by Titus O'Neill and some other guy needling him.)

That 24 special was like the one they did for WM30, not as good sadly, but still pretty damn great. Lots of great backstage happenings like Vince and Sting talking, Undertaker with his daughter, Brock with Undertker, etc. Good stuff. WELL worth a watch.

The one thing I wish they would have shown on that 24 thing was the part where they told Reigns they changed their minds and he wasn't winning the belt. He seemed to be absent from most of the backstage stuff later in the day. The funniest thing for me was seeing Brock trying to pump Undertaker up before his match.

JBL is the drizzling ****s as far as an interviewer goes. He's got to be the worst. It's like his series of questions to every person he talks to goes:
- Weren't we great?
- Isn't Vince McMahon great?
- Tell me about how Vince Russo sucked.
- What's wrong with everyone else who isn't me?

As much as I'd like to hear the people he's interviewing, I can't take him, especially talking about the Attitude Era which is a shame because the APA was one of my all time favorite teams.

So many free podcasts are around now. I'm sure just about everyone JBL interviews has been on at least one, and it won't be bound by any WWE rules and such.

It isn't even watchable. Bam Bam coming out to "Welcome to the Jungle", "Natural Born Killaz" playing throughout New Jack's matches, that **** made it special. ECW was easily my favorite promotion, ever, and I can't even watch it in better definition on the network because they've made it all ****.
