Some people derive pleasure from cars. I know I am happy walking outside and driving a car I like vs driving something that I don't.

I love doing any maitenance or performance work on my car myself. Plus, it's a beautiful car. Also, it does indeed get the bitches.



As an aside, while we're talking about da womenz, the chick who I watched wrestling with and was really in to me. I realized about 2 weeks in to hanging out with her that she might be the dumbest person in the world. So, I don't think that one is gonna work out.

The guys who get nice cars solely to impress girls are misguided though. As moorobot said, if you're trying to get the kind of girls who are attracted to money and nice cars then you're doing it wrong.

Is Tebow really that bad? I know nothing about handegg but I can't imagine stopping supporting my football team because of a player we signed. Having said that I don't really follow them anymore anyway - I used to go to every game home and away and now I rarely even check results, but that's more of a case of falling out of love with the game than anything else.

He's not very good as a player (which may be a generous description), but more so he's just a divisive figure. He's really outspoken about being religious and that rubs a lot of people the wrong way.

I actually kind of agree with Wally. I mean, a woman liking sports is hardly one that I would shun, but I think there's a lot to be said for just keeping sports as your own hobby.

I guess I should maybe rephrase what my logic was there. I don't mind watching sports with casual fans (like football, since the Riders here are a provincial obsession), but when I'm watching something like baseball or hockey I want to be either left alone, or with people who know the game inside and out.

And those people can't be a girlfriend.

I always shudder at couples that do absolutely everything together, as how do you not get sick of each other? Sports, in a lot of ways, is my release. I don't want to share that with my significant other.

For instance, I'm a Leafs fan, but why would I want to drag anyone in to that world of hell? It is a little bit different if the girl is already a sports/Leafs fan, but not so. If I'm swearing at my TV, it's because it's a release. A release from "life stress", a release from everything.

I think I was just rambling there and that likely didn't make any sense.
