Even when the crowd wasn't chanting YES with him when he was heel, he was still smackdown champ. He was doing the whole Vegan/better than everyone character, also had AJ with him who was hugely over for a valet (I think his relationship with her helped a lot). Douche Vegan Dbry was probably my favourite smackdown champ of the "smackdown is so much better than raw" era.

I think he gradually got over, even as heel. The crowd had clicked to him even before he reached super stardom with Yes movement. Obviously that was huge part, but I think he slowly learnt to get over rather than 1 think that clicked in his head on how to.

Just give the belt to Cena and make Reigns beat him at WM. The overlap between Cena fans and Reigns fans is probably pretty solid so it'll be a match made for that group. Guessing the type of fans who don't like Cena will feel ambivalent to Reigns winning that match rather than boo it

Lesnar v Bryan (main event - Brock is still Brock because when he lost the belt it was a triple threat where Cena pinned Rollins or other shenanigans went on)

These two would be colossal wastes. I want to see Ziggler wrestle someone that can work a high paced, 15-20 minute match; not an old fat ass that he makes look good for 8 minutes before getting "knocked out". Rollins v. Ziggler would be great, if your Bryan v. Rollins doesn't come to fruition.

When Bryan was getting over as a main eventer during his second WHC run, he was working with Big Show and Henry. They played the 'enhancement talent' role pretty well during that programme. You can still have an entertaining match with an immobile, bigger guy if you use the right ring psychology.

BTW, the first ppv after wrestlemania, extreme rules, is in Chicago this year. I highly doubt wwe will want the belt on reigns for this show, and would expect Rollins to cash in before or at this show. Which means he probably won't, and reigns will go to Chicago booked as a face with the title and get booed out of the building

I was just thinking, is anybody helping Reigns with his promos? Please tell me they don't just give him the script and send him out there without coaching. Not even Ryback was this bad. Maybe Reigns should start wearing a skull cap and an earpiece?

According to Wade Keller on Austin's podcast, Reigns has long been the guy that HHH, not Vince, has wanted to groom to be the next #1 guy. A year ago Vince really was grooming Big E as the next #1 guy and they would debate about this.
