Totally agree with this. The right move: Have Mark Henry get them DQed again for excessive violence vs. Kane, ideally while Christian is setting up Orton for the finish. As a bonus, sets up Christian vs. Mark Henry for a week, which should be good for a few lulz. (Edit to add: Christian wins, of course, when Henry gets DQed again for putting him through a couple tables or something, and Teddy Long comes out to congratulate him on his victory while he's still laid out.)

OK, but even when Edge did the whole ultimate opportunist gimmick and cheated at every turn he did actually win matches.

All that show did was make Xtian look less credible and Mark Henry look like a beast. So why isnt the big huge black guy who just repeatedly murdered the giant and got the 3 over the champ not getting a shot?

They basically wrote themselves into the corner that i know Orton goes over and i know Henry beats show at MITB and i know Henry faces Orton at whatever PPV follows MITB (Summerslam?). Which i dont hate, i could probably get behind it in fact, but its not great writing and it doenst sell MITB tickets.

Christian winning cos Orton's foot was under the rope, Teddy restarting it right then and then Orton winning would be a pretty hilarious way to take the story next. Or alternately someone cashes in the briefcase on him. The problem is the best way for that to end means a face turned Christian and a heel turned Orton and Teddy which i cant see the WWE doing.

I especially can't see the WWE doing it because the crowd would never even remotely accept it.

A heel could win it from him. Swagger won it from Jericho. Either way if that scenario occurs I think it sets up a three-way at SummerSlam.

You guys are way too optimistic. Christian jobs for the millioneth time at MITB, then toils in midcard vs. Sin Cara or Daniel Bryan for a few months. Orton vs. Henry at Summerslam, Orton goes over then either wins via Showference the PPV after, or drops it to Henry.

Are we actually considering the possibility that Mark Henry might hold the WHC sometime this year? That would be the lowest point since Khali held it. Henry works hard and deserves a push, but he can't draw money and would be a disaster as a major champion.

My Friends Bands Video

my friends band made a music video for there first single that has a wresting theme with a few Scottish local wrestlers etc involved in matches for the video ... not the biggest fan of the music but thought the video idea was pretty cool

If the entire feud was just going to be Christian jobbing out, I simply don't understand why they wouldn't have moved on from it by now. I realize that they don't care about being boring or stale, but they do care about whether their brand's top feud is a moneymaker or not. Despite not caring about being boring or stale, they have some business sense, and I simply don't know what sense it makes to occupy three straight PPVs with Orton vs. guy who can't beat him and isn't even portrayed as someone who can beat him unless there's some kind of twist.

I think Teddy starts off smackdown with some form of:

"Christian, I told you if you won the match you'd get an opportunity to win the world heavyweight championship. You won, and now you'll have the chance. All you have to do is win the money in the bank ladder match playa"

We get Orton/Henry this month, Christian wins the briefcase for SD! and we spend the next few months with Christian stalking Orton



edit: MitB is the perfect opportunity to give Henry the title shot if he's gonna get it, because the WHC match isn't going to be the main attraction for people to buy - the ladder matches are.
