So I'm reading through Foley's most recent (which is terrible and disappointing so far) and there is a chapter on Steroids and wrestling. In it he has this quote "I had one WWe wrestler swear to me, with tears in his eyes, that he was taking absolutely nothing but supplements when he failed a test, resulting in a suspension at the worst possible time in his career. He had no reason to lie - this was several months after the suspension- and I had known the guy for over 15 years but his career has yet to recover and in reality never quite did."

If I had to guess, I would think he was talking about Regal here, taking the suspension hit right when he was getting a push with the whole King of the Ring thing. Anybody else think I'm on track?

Only other guy I can think of that was in WCW with him in early 90's was Booker, who actually I think left the WWE after a dispute about his steroid use a few years back.

Yeah, Regal is the only name that makes sense. Jeff Hardy wouldnt be talking in such a way (im not sure he was being pushed the times he failed too), Morrison, Umaga and Mr Kennedy were too young to have been known for 15 years, Rey would have been suspended too late to make it into the book and i cant think of anyone else who was on or about to be on a push when they failed.
