I'll be in Vegas for a few days starting Saturday and am wondering if the IP/Quad room is currently open?

Specifically I'm wondering if the Sunday eve mixed game is still running. From the looks of their website it is, but I never really trust the marketing sites rooms put together about what games really run

Yes, it is. But it's now on the third floor where the sports book is. The mix game is still going, but with the dead season, I've noticed sometimes on Bravo it hasn't gone off. Currently Bravo says there are no games running and 1 player on the interest list. They are really hurting for business. The mix game is one of their biggest draws though, so it still can go off.

I'm glad you created this thread because someone other than me plans to be there when I'll be there this Sunday.

Hopefully a couple others that frequent this forum that will be in Vegas will want to stop by. It's really fun and look forward to getting away from a Holdem/Omaha only casino area.

What games are in the mix and what stakes are played?

7. 4 card Crazy Ocean Pineapple (4 cards dealt-discard flop-discard turn-6 comm. cards)

9. 3-2-1 Omaha (3 flops, 2 turns, 1 river-must use one flop, one turn, and river to make hand-the player with the best Omaha high hand wins the whole pot)
10. Badeucey (I think A is always high in Badeucey now; it didnt use to be)

Is the LV marathon at night? lol Or are they gonna be so beat afterward that they won't want to do anything? Get them to play too!

Apparently it does finish at night...blah. Hope that doesn't keep the locals away from playing.

People love running the strip at night. A friend flew in from Boston last year just to run that silly thing.

Locals don't drive on the strip. Like, ever, except to get in/out of Bellagio's or Wynn's garage (whatever rocket scientist located the garages such that you couldn't get to 'em from a side street should be shot). And the fraction of local pokerites who can run a half marathon is pretty limited. So I don't think you need to fret over the local turnout.
