and could u also explain what these terms mean. Thanks!

First line: VPIP / PFR / AF
Second line: raw WSD (that is, VPIP*WSD) / W$SD / #hands / session_win_loss
The HUD works with all the versions of pokertracker, for the games those pokertrackers provide. Well, actually, I have not tried it with PT3.

vpip=Voluntary participation in pot, i.e. how often they paid to see 4th
pfr = pre-fourth-raise, how often they raised 3rd
AF = aggression factor, which is (bets + raises) / calls - does not include 3rd I think

WSD = went to showdown (as a percentage of hands dealt)
WTSD = won $ at showdown (as a percentage of times you went to showdown)
#hands = the number of hands you have on them for the relevant stats
session_win_loss is... session win/loss (I think it's in BB but I don't remember)

I didn't realize you could look up dead cards this way. SFN. TY.

Is pokertracker compatible with mac?

Actually, I can make a mac build, I do have access to a mac now which I didn't before. But you will still have to interface with PT.

I just emailed them and they just sent me a new registration code, no questions...

This system seems exploitable

I would like to give this a try but need some help.

1. I appear to have postgres installed on my computer with username 'postgres', no idea about password, it says Password stored? No.

2. When I look to convert my PT DB to postgres there is a dropdown menu with ODCB Entry to Use. No dropdown options are there.

Any ideas? TIA

I have exactly the same issue. I've emailed PT Mike (the Stud/Omaha guy) about it and will let you know if anything comes of it. He did tell me the default password is probably "dbpass".

I think you have to enter your postgres settings in PT before you can do this

I have a version that works with access now, not postres, anyone want to try it?

you can also do a search in the PT postgres forum on removing the password requirement then just leave it blank for the stud hud. this is what I did and it worked fine.

Sure, then I won't have to fiddle with my DB.

PT Mike gave me the following solution link:

http://www.pokertracker.com/forums/v...hp?f=29&t=5669 (4th post).

Although the access version sounds like less of a hassle...

No. I can't remember if I made the card tracker work without PTS, let me check later.

I'll be uploading a version tomorrow morning that supports MS Access

I can't get this thing working. I've been through the quick start guide a couple of times, tried deleting the configs and resetting it up and no joy.

When I hit Start polling poker tracker it comes up saying "There are no pokertracker databases defined. If this is your first time running the hud........". Then it loads the database option window (and all the databases are in there fine, and test ok).

While doing this I have stud tables open on Stars, with PT Stud auto-import running. I'm using postgresql 8.2, PT holdem, PT Omaha, and PT stud but I only want the hud for stud games.

Any idea what's up?

Can you send me a screen shot of the postgres config window? After you do the test are you using "add" to push the config settings from the "top" of the config window to the list at the bottom?

You can also try the version I uploaded this morning. Nothing is materially different except it supports access and the database config window looks quite different because I realized it was dumb to have it the way I did.

You are not required to define a database for each game btw, just the ones you want to do.

I have my PT set up in Access, but I can switch to Postgres now that you've given me a clear reason to. However, I play at PS and I can't see sending any money into FTP until and if the US Government releases the poker distribution money they seized coming into the US.

I would think it would be more beneficial to work on making this work for PS than for Access.

Would like to try it when you get to that.

Thanks.

In my postgres config window there is no "add" button and no list at the bottom of the window. Next to each line there is a test button, and at the bottom there's Apply, Accept, and Cancel but thats all there is...

Using the Access options I get a successful test, but there is no add button.

It also has the "There are no PokerTracker databases defined..." message.

Thanks.

Oh, you already had the new version. I've been using it myself so that's weird, let me check it out. I probably need to try clearing out my config file myself - I probably have some leftover cruft in there. Sorry!

Edit: OK I fixed it, new version uploaded now, should work

I guess I'll have to see if I can get it to trigger it myself, honestly I have no idea what the problem would be.
