Hey all. First time poster but a notorious lurker in this thread. Just wondering if anyone from on here is gonna be at the boat this week. I'm coming in late Wednesday night and staying through sometime Saturday. Look forward to meeting/seeing some of you guys there at either the tourneys or 1/2 NL. I'll most likely be wearing some kind of Jersey and a bandanna with the logo from my avatar on it. Of course, most people that play with me probably just remember me as the guy who never shuts up (apologies to whoever sits next to me).

I'll be at SB tomorrow. I left the King at home, but enough of you will recognize me. NP game was pretty soft today.

I'll probably be looking for some PLO Friday. If I don't think a 1/2 PLO will go @ trump plaza, I'll be on the list at the boat.

After some last minute work scheduling changes, I will be staying at the Boat on Monday night. I will prob check out the action at Harrah's during the day on Monday, then make my way to the Boat in the evening, and be there all day Tuesday as well.

Will have the Dallas Mavericks chip as my card protector as always.

Harrahs had 1/3 PLO hi lo going for at least 20 hour straight the other day ( a weekeday), because of all the players in town for the ciircuit. Only 3 or 4 of the players were locals.

Not yet, but everything that we have mentioned in this thread has been brought to management. Now it will be up to them to decide which ideas will be possible for the room. As soon as I hear anything at all, I will post it on here. Rod and I are going to make an appt to speak with management soon to talk about any progress that has been made with any of the ideas presented.

That's why we are trying to go to management to try and promote some new things. During the week, it has been slow. As of late, a lot of it is contributed to various bad beat jackpots across the city that have been high. Ours was hit 3 times within a week several weeks ago, bringing it below $10,000. Caesar's has been high, and last I checked, Taj was about $175,000. Unfortunately, until we find a way to get players to come in on slow times and when the BBJ is low, we'll just have to live with this for now. The room picks up around 11AM when the 1st tourney gets underway.

OK this actually brings up the question of "Who is NJMike?". It took me a while but I finally figured out who Rod is. I think I know who you are, and if u are who I think, you dealt to me last time I was around a few weeks ago, but I never had a good opening to ask.

Can you describe yourself for those of us who get down to AC only once a month or so?? (Even though I know you have done it in the thread somewhere, but there are too many posts to hunt for it again)

About the poker room being empty, maybe you guys could hire me as one of those guys, forgot what they are called, that get paid to play. This will help get games going.

I booked a room at the Boat on the 23rd so I should get some 1/2 NL in that night or the next morning. I'm hoping that it's fairly busy with the holidays and more people being off.
