Really doubt that's true of Tulalip. I'm sure they're plenty interested in the $500- $1000 budget crowd.

Have you ever tried booking Tulalip during weekend?

Im guessing their fully booked on weekends. This us a pretty wealthy area and no other casino in the area has a hotel. Right?

Do the Muck poker room managers basically have jobs for life? Does losing the 4/8 and 15/30 omaha games to Fortune mean anything to them in light of their other revenue?

My guess is no

Anyway, Hideaway has this, too. It's rare and not that complicated to ask the dealer to hold the hand.
15/30 doesn't drop jackpot rake, therefore it's exempt from all promotions. Those guys would lose their minds if Fortune decided to start to drop a jackpot in that game.

Fair point about the lack of the jackpot in the $15/$30 game.

Still doesn't seem like a great idea, even at the lower limit.

Chasing jackpots designed to attract suckers doesn't seem like a good idea in the first place.

FWIW, I don't see how it could be a bad thing to reward someone with player funded money then tax him.

So it looks like the gaming commission has raised the max poker bet for hold'em to $300: http://www.wsgc.wa.gov/agenda/2016/s...ion-packet.pdf (the Teeny proposal which is Tab 7 on page 3 was approved). Hopefully they do not allow an increase in the rake when they meet again, but this seems like good news. Anyone know of any cardrooms that plan to take advantage of the newly available betting structure?

My friend deals at the Last Frontier in La Center. Apparently they're going to be offering 5-300 spread. Hope there is some of that around Seattle.

What about non-hold em? I'd like to move the 75/150 (lately 50/100) mix game to Fortune. The room is a 100x nicer than the Muck (and has the benefit of no pit games to suck my bankroll dry).

Here is more specific information on the proposal that was accepted:

Quote:
Mr. Teeny is requesting increased wagering limits for non-house-banked card games, such as poker.
Specifically, the proposed change would:
• Increase the maximum amount of a single wager on any authorized poker game, not just Texas
Hold ‘Em, from $40 to $100 at a Class F card rooms; and
• Increase the maximum amount of a single wager on any authorized poker game, not just Texas
Hold ‘Em, played at house-banked card room licensees to $300, the same limits as those for
house-banked card games.
So yes all poker is up to $300, but ONLY at places that have house-banked card games like blackjack etc

So Fortune can then spread perhaps 3-100?

And a 50/100 HOE game, for example.

That would be nice! Do they just spread games based on demand? Who do I have to email? Haha

But why would you want to leave out the 2 funnest HORSE games?

Fortune food catchup:

Beef chow fun is fantastic
Clam chowder was not good. Definitely house made with real clams, but too salty, not creamy at all. Confirmed with another player that it was better in the past. Also it was served cold

Tip: you can sub fries for rice for free

I had the black pepper beef there not long ago. It's definitely my favorite thing on the menu.

Because the producers in the mix game don't like to play razz or stud high. We've added them in at various times and they haven't really stuck. Razz was reasonably well received but I doubt stud high will ever be included again.

I checked out hideaway tonight. No omaha 3/6 game, 2 people on the list for the BigO.

I guess Club Hollywood is the place for 3/6 omaha hi low? A dude at Tulalip mentioned they have a hh promotion, i'd never been there before.

At 11pm there was two tables, one with 3 people. They have this wierd $400 once every four hour thing. How's the food there? Does anybody hate the place for any reason?

thanks

I dont mind CH, when i lived up north i would split my time between there and Hideaway. You see allot of the same players at both casinos.
