I cannot physically be in two different locations at the same time. Hard to believe but its science

But no I'd rather be rivered in a less ghetto poker room with better service.

Had some really awful service last times i played, just horrible. Like why bother to comp food if the waitress doesn't even put in your order?

Basically just salty after many bad rivers to realize why am i here in this crap shack? If im gonna spew chips I'd like it to be someplace nicer with less raw sewage smell

Note i started playing at Wizards again after boycotting the place for a couple of years

Tldr: Ghetto room, bad service, mediocre food, run bad

Edit: O/8 more fun that 2/20 as well

Science has also shown that there are different periods of time.

I'll take a stab at this one.

Because...they can

The Tulalip has over 12 pokestops, yet the most interesting poke i saw was a raticate. Maybe 7 uncommon spawns, otherwise just a field of pidgeys ratatas and caterpies.

Spew, please chime in!

Recent transplant to Yakima from Boise. Play Seattle or Spokane whenever I am in area for business (not often). Mostly Snoq because "it's halfway home".

Infrequent flyer to Yak's Caribbean and Topp's Legend's. Just learning limit game so..... trying not to fall asleep.

Fortune has a Monte Carlo board and bad beat jackpot for Omaha now.

$1000 spade royal. $250 for other Royals.
$100 straight flush wheel. $499 for quads in hand.
$25,000 badbeat, quad tens or better beaten.

A bonus for quads in hand? Bad idea, that's going to mess up hands when people show them, or cause confusion even if they say "fold" but try to hold onto their cards.

When you fold you ask the dealer to hold your hand until after the final card and betting. Then they look at it and pay you for quads

I understand that would probably be the best way to handle it, but I still think it's going to lead to problems. And the dealer could accidentally muck the hand this way also.

I think you should be forced to get to showdown to collect on the bonus. Would do wonders for the game and who knows, maybe you'll even win the high.

That would definitely make it more interesting, and solve the problems I was worried about. Would just have to make sure everyone was very clear on the rules.

Kind of takes away from the fun of hitting the jackpot when you have to call until showdown in a $15/$30 kill pot with quad tens in order to collect your $499.

Anyway, Hideaway has this, too. It's rare and not that complicated to ask the dealer to hold the hand.

Moving the family...I'm down to Seattle or San Diego ..Any suggestions on good Seattle neighborhoods that are close to the poker action?
Seattle Quote

There is no poker action in Seattle so you'll be commuting. The 3 tribal casinos have their pros and cons but the driving distances are similar.

Almost doesn't sound like you're from Seattle area.

Seattle as city proper is limited and public school system is pretty much on par with most public school systems in big cities. Pretty bad in case you didn't get that reference.

Anywhere on the Eastside is decent, and there are pockets of neighborhoods up north that are decent as well.

Eastside is close to Snoqualmie.

North is close to Tulalip.

Yep, while the Muck is some of the best poker in the area, living on the south side is inadvisable.

I live on the Eastside and go to the Snoq or now Fortune to play. Fortune is a beautiful room with a ton of action since it's new. Hopefully that holds

Can anyone explain why the Tulalip charges $330 for a room, other than 'because they can.'

Are the rooms that nice? Is it because they are the only lux hotel 20 minutes from Burlington?

Is it a stealth rakeback program for the degens?

So, is the Muckleshoot still at $100,000? Haven't been there since March...

Supply and demand, and the fact that they don't really care to cater toward those who are sensitive to $330 per room.
