I watched some videos and this temp one looks like it's a temporary bubble (like a sports facility). No mention of a poker room now or in the permanent building.

As of now, a 20-table poker room is planned for the permanent location. See page 116 (Exhibit B-1) in the below.

There's been a table of 5-10 stud running a few times I've been recently tbh. Never on weekends but weekdays I've seen it a few times.

This is about as common as it is for Rivers to offer excessive comps to gaming patrons.

Dumb question - what is this game? Is it 5- or 7- card? 2 cards down?

I've played a ton of different versions of stud in my life - for fun - but never in a poker room.

I think all they need is a full list and an empty dealer and table and they run different games.

7 card stud. Everyone starts with two down cards and one up. Then a round of betting, then a second up card for everyone. Continue in this manner (deal card, round of betting) until everyone still in the hand has 7 cards. Last card is dealt face down.

Thank you sir. I love 7 card stud.

Yes, typically fixed limit or spread limit.

The first game I ever played in a casino was 1-5 Stud (Seven Card Stud). I then progressed to 2-10 Stud. There was a whole lot more of it spread back in the 90's when riverboat gambling came to the midwest.

Is there an advantage to placing sports bets at the Kiosks in the casino vs through the betrivers app? I'm just curious why folks appear to go to the casino just to place a sports bet vs using the app.

Awhile back I compared the kiosk odds to the betriver apps odds and the kiosk odds were actually worse. Not sure if still true.

Also, I haven’t played in a month but now see a 5/5 NLH 2k max game - anybody knows if that actually runs and how it is?

The 5/5 game runs every weekend and I've seen it on a Thursday.

I've played it once, it's just a stepping stone between the 2-5 1k cap and the 5-10 MTS, it plays closer to a Vegas 5-10 in terms of size, small sample size in terms of play but like any step up in stakes you tend to get some much better players but also combined with worse players / bigger gamblers.

It basically plays like a bigger 2-5.

Played yesterday and today, didn't have to wait at all yesterday, today was crazy. They know they don't have enough dealers (and are at least training people), and you can't force people to work OT / change shifts, but feels like every time there's a holiday they're super short staffed.

That said games last night and today were incredible, and didn't hurt that I ran super hot too.

Some people don’t use the app because Rivers has two different rewards programs. The betting app has its own points system and does not get you tier points at the casino at all. Plus the kiosks on the third floor never used to scan players cards to always had to run to the book or to a kiosk downstairs to make bets if you wanted tier points.

They did just change to allow points through to app to temporarily be used at restaurants now. Idk how long that will last.

Because of this, I only bet at Rivers (on the app or in person if there is a noticeable odds difference from DK or other books.

Also checked out the 5-5 game last Wednesday. Agree it plays like a big 2-5. Last Wednesday it looked like a juicy game from what I saw.

22, and all 22 run until about midnight or 1am usually when dealers' shifts start ending.

Had a swingy few weeks at Rivers lol, won $2500, $1100, $600 in 3 sessions of 2-5, then lost $400, $600, $1600 the next 3.
