What are you banging on about weeman?

Nobody is claiming IGB doesn't allow call ins, the issue is apparently with bravo sign ins (you'll note no Illinois casinos allow that, at least none I've been to).

Place is running just fine, and my understanding of what a brush is tallies with how they're used here, doing all the jobs that aren't dealing or flooring, running chips etc.

They also do train them as dealers

I don't mind people knowing who I am as many do anyway. I am usually in sweats, an Adidas hoodie, and some type of stylish Adi kicks. I always try to be friendly, and play 1-3 and 2-5 but mostly 1-3 these days as the games are so good. Haven't been around as much since the weather broke, I tend to grind more in the winter months and try and enjoy life balance during the summer. Feel free to direct message me here and if I am in the room I will open the app and maybe we can connect. Good luck all! MD

If Weeman wants to complain, he’ll complain. He’s not complaining about your jackass. It’s not personal against you. So, mind your own business.

Sorry forgot this was a substack or blog and not a messageboard.

What he's saying is also factually inaccurate in part, and a complete misrepresentation (whether wilful or not) of what others on here have said.

At least he's complaining because he still wants to play there and can't, whereas you don't want to play there, but can and do. LOL.

People in general like to complain, I would argue poker players complain more than most.

My only complaint is they didnt kick me out and say a reason. I showed up and got a back off and a letter. And it seems similar to when hemal kicked me out of aurora for a yely review except he told me it was over a yelp review that time. Im not mad at rivers but its always proper to let someone know what they did wrong. I made 5x my buyin at the charitables today and no waiting lists- same player pool too.

your version of works just fine- 80 people on a waiting list for 3 or more hours is fine? I think itsrude to think its fine to waste so much time due to laziness and unwillingness to pay an employee to handle callins. Its as if peoples time is not valuable. Ive been on a list there at 2 am after busting out and taking a break- number one on the list, 5 open seats. And im not allowed to sit because they wanted to break a table and 2 hours later I was still number one and waiting while they had open seats??? Thats disrespectful of my time.

Weeman, you should escalate to casino management on a level above the poker room and tell them you think you are being banned for being negative online about the poker room.

There's no reason for them to pay someone to handle call-ins if long waiting lists aren't leading to them having significantly fewer tables open than they are capable of running. It's bad business to cater to the people who can't find something else to do in a casino for two hours while waiting.

The alternative to just waiting for enough seats to open up to break a table is to force a table to break and make any extra players go on the list. Come up with a fair way to decide which table gets forced to break.

There is no poker room in America that wants to break games while people are waiting Except For Rivers. What a shame!

And, someone that likes poker is kicked out over simply complaining. Absolutely horrific!

Yeah them having to break tables sucks, but they don't have enough dealers and you can't force people to work OT lol.

They are at least trying to hire, but like everywhere a lot of people left the industry during COVID.

And all four of the current chip runners are in dealer school right now fwiw.

I just left Rivers. There were only 14 tables running on a Holiday Weekend out of 22 tables. Huge lists at 1 am.

"Huge lists at 1:00 am," but you posted at 12:01 am and say you had already left. Hmmm...you premonitions?

Its not an issue, I dunno if I did anything wrong because they dont tell me? It seemed odd when the brush was uestioning me about whether I post on 2 plus 2. Then i come on here and see rivers no goods post and his match my complaints so im sure they think im him. There 500 others out there with the same complaints and when another chicago option opens rivers will look like elgin does now. I was at rcg the other day and some delusional person was defending rivers saying "take it or leave it" He said he can wait 3 hours because he makes 50 an hour there. I pointed out he loses 150 while waiting then. He didnt 3 bet once in 4 hours, and his vpip was like 10. SURE you make 50 an hour, in his dreams.

Another Casino got approved for DT Chicago correct? Ballys I believe? With a temporary location set to open this summer. Any word on whether poker will be offered in the temp room?

Though it's not until 2026, I suspect that competition in downtown Chicago will be interesting. Wonder if Rivers will start allowing call ins at that point lol.

Bally's to open a temp location in the Medinah Tower, which will include up to 800 gaming 'locations'. Job fair this Saturday, June 10th .. so they must be pretty serious about getting some of those tax funds flowing into Chicago!

Also intend to open gaming locations in both major airports.

While someone might take the stroll to/from Navy Pier from the temp locations I really doubt that the full hike would be taken to the full casino site almost 2x more to the west. I guess it's possible that some sort of shuttle could run back and forth.

IMO it's very unlikely that poker would be offered in the temp location and it's way too far off to consider poker in the full casino destination. GL
