The following is something brand spanking new at Rivers and I've never seen it at any poker room in the US.

At around 2-6 am, Rivers poker room decides if they need players to go home based on short staffing or if they want to continue working or not. After they decide this, you will begin hearing a noise. It's a noise that you will not hear during regular business hours. The noise may sound like an Extremely loud slot machine (a slot machine you'll never hear during normal business hours). What this noise does is affect your concentration. It also upsets me. It will drive players to go home when they usually hadn't planned to.

I don't exactly know how they pipe this noise in, but trust me, you'll hear it (as long as you have decent hearing).

Enjoy!

So they busted the dudes that robbed people in the garage here. Criminals are mostly stupid.

Some Players don't use Rewards cards in poker room because it actually hurts their casino rating .. this is usually per casino host recommendations.

I can vouch for this at one casino since a Player's comps/offers/free plays increased quite a bit once he stopped logging in for poker.. GL

Artificial Intelligence ChatGPT can be programmed to be a chatter box that never stops "talking" and keeps a forum busy. Mason sold a burned out website. 😱

You know what's incredible? You have somehow managed to continuously find ways to complain about a place that you also frequent on a regular basis. Also, you somehow seem to have an incredible amount of inside info about Rivers and their employees. How do you know so much about them?

The best part of that post is the noise he's complaining about is... music. They've been occasionally softly playing music at night.

One of the worst dealers is Jonathan. He is petit with spikey dark hair. He walks around with his seat pad as if it’s a back pack.

He’s been there since open and still can’t deal properly. He is squirrelly and annoying.

At least about the dealing, gotta say I agree. His pitch is awful and can easily flash cards.

Sorry sir .. soft play is not tolerated in this room. That'll be a one round penalty and could lead to steeper actions. GL

In my (17!) years on 2P2 riversnotsogood you may be the strangest account I’ve seen - if you dislike the place so much that you specifically created an account to post complaints about it, why have you kept going there?

There aren't any other options nearby

There are but this person apparently doesn't want to engage in any, or perhaps they want good options.

Grand Victoria
Rockford Charitable Games
Chicago Charitable Games

Yep I was joking, Shoe is also close (it's about equidistant to GVC from me in the city).

This guy absolutely rims RCG so not sure why he just wouldn't go there.

Gives off vibes of someone intentionally trying to drive people away from Rivers, given how weird the last few complaints have been (and I say that as someone who has never played there). If I was the conspiratorial type, I'd assume he was the proprietor of a business that lost players to Rivers.

My guess is he's a weird and over-the-top RCG fanboi.

Right but if so then why not just go there all the time? RCG is rarely more than about 20m from Rivers lol.

Here for the first time in ages (been playing at the Shoe as only been able to play weekend nights recently and it's easier to use the online check in than wait here).

Great room but they do need to do something about the list. They give people sooooo long once they've called/texted, surely there's a better way.

For sure. It's called allowing call-ins. That is the single reason I go to GVC instead of Rivers. Well that and the fact that there are ~0 good players playing 1/3 @ GVC.

Yeah the standard of play here is notably higher here than GVC, Shoe and RGC. Shame it's the nicest room lol. They also need all in buttons not sure what that's about, more than once I've seen confusion over that and it's an easy fix.

I live in the city so Elgin another 25ish mins for me, prefer the shoe to Elgin based on distance but the smoke smell gets to me these days a bit, and I'm a toll nit so hate the $13 lol.
