In terms of eye candy there are plenty of attractive women, not just the staff....
I keep hearing this but IMO that's pretty overrated. Very few restaurants inside the casinos I go to don't take 1 for 1 comps. All the buffets do and most of the sit down places as well. And right now revel doesn't have a cheap spot to use comp dollars at.

And if you want to talk non-staff eye candy, nothing beats the girls coming from/going to mur mur.

The service window at Amada has reasonably priced quick tasty food. Order at the window and sit at the counter.

Thank. Will look into it. I checked out their menus online. I'm not into seafood but their burger and chicken sandwich seems reasonably priced.

If you are comfortable with Amada lunch prices - Village Whiskey offers more variety in that price range. Also, if you like beer you can hang at the bar at Mussel Bar and eat reasonably.

Frankie also spoke about Luke's Market which opened recently but it is not yet onthe website. Plus, you have all the cheap boardwalk food a short walk away.

Anyone know if there is a deadline date for the promotion of going to the Revel showing your comp card from another place and getting a free room and $50 free room service?

Simplest directions. If one is coming in off the beach through the main doors, go up the first escalator and then head all the way to the back of the casino to the box office. Make a right up the escalators and make a right when you get off....
I have heard some similar directions; however, since I have been there 3 times now and still have never seen the box office, it is not as easy as you make it sound.

I spoke to a Revel employee (not a poker room employee) about something else, and in the course of the conversation briefly mentioned that the poker room is difficult to find. I don't mind the walk, but as others have said, a lack of signs is the problem. The employee told me that Revel deliberately makes it difficult to find because regular poker players don't like to be bothered by people who aren't regular players. I have a hard time believing that's the case, but I certainly hope they aren't trying to discourage tourists or blackjack fish from finding the room.

You have to earn $10 in comps (5 hours at 1/2) ON THE DAY YOU FIRST SIGN UP FOR YOUR REVEL CARD. I saw something at Revel that says their gaming day starts/ends at 6AM. If you came before and got a card already it's too late for that. This offer is unrelated to tier 3. If you come for the first time AND upgrade to tier 3 AND get the $10 you can get both offers.

BUT, you can't use the comp the same day. You get the 5 hours in, go to the Revel card center and they'll give you a voucher or something, and then you can call up and try to book a room. I was too late to do this so I'm not sure how easy it is to book on short notice. So don't expect to come play and then stay that night for free, because I'm almost certain you won't be able to.

Tier 3 is completely separate. I described the offers above, but supposedly they're going to keep doing random offers instead of something like Borgata where you can book up the next 3 months because it's the same.

Are these offers still going? I'll be there this weekend. I already got a Revel card in April so I am not sure if I can still upgrade but I have a Borgata Black card. Also I will be with a friend who doesn't have a Revel card yet, but she doesn't have a premium card to upgrade so I'm curious if both promotions are still going.

TIA

I just got an email from revel. Two free nights a week. $50 each night in food credit. $75 free slot. Now through Sep 2. Pretty sick.

Awesome!

I bet this is based on your borgata tier... Right?

Is the poker room worth the stay or is the "B" still the place to play?
07-13-2012 , 11:58 AM
Yes this is based on tier 3 from borgata black card. IMO, borgata is the place to play still. But the room offers, with $50 food each night, are solid. Some of my friends use the offer, then they drive over to borgata to play.

I was told by a dealer that they purposely don't have great signage because they want guests to interact with the staff. If that's true, it's ridiculous that Revel management wants their guests to find the property difficult to navigate so they have to ask the staff. It's even more ridiculous if the staff makes up answers to questions like poker players don't like to be bothered by non-regulars. And if this isnt a made-up answer, that's even worse.

You really need to decide that for yourself. Midweek Revel does not have many games running, so game selection isn't there. I've logged more than a dozen midweek sessions at Revel and found the games to be soft everytime. So for me, even when there was only one game running, it was enough. And I have had a game run EVERY time I've been to Revel. But then I'm not afraid to be the first to sit at a table to get a game going. I've done this a few times and a game always got going within 20 minutes and we'd usually have a nearly full or full table within an hour.

But if you prefer game selection or don't like to play shorthanded Revel may not be the place for you midweek.

The sad thing is I've played with several people who don't like playing with "people who don't know what they are doing".

Same with me. This seems to be exactly the same as the July 4th week offer. Apparently it's based off of Tier 3 since I haven't really played there for a little while.

I'm a little disappointed that they're not doing a regular 1 day a week offer like they were before. As I said it's cool to do 2 days there but if they're not going to do regular offers it's hard to play there - I'd have to go back and forth between casinos.

If anyone got an additional offer, please post and let us know. Wondering if the guys like PokerHacker that play there a lot more are getting additional comps based on their play.

So far I'm still "tier 1" and just making the $2 an hour since I really only play on Saturdays.....

I have yet to receive the room offer despite my $10 earn with the promo about 2 weeks ago. I'm sure it'll be in my inbox soon....

I'll be there this Saturday and, if circumstances allow, also on Sunday....

has anyone been successful in going to guest services with a players card they got during the soft opening and getting the promo for the free room and food credit after earning 10 comp dollars?

Nope we dont try to make anything difficult..we want everyone comfortable. Obviously you receied a non poker employees opinion who may not quite understand poker. Signage is posted in areas its just not your ordinary run of the mill signage . it is high tech illuminated on columns signage and maps. Its on a higher level and there is a lot of traffic after shows and now that the club is open on the next level there are more people than ever walking around
