But I'm not there so can't say for sure, maybe lots of people wait 5 minutes then leave so the lists churn quickly. But the 1.5 hours chris mentioned seems about right to me.
I was there today. Not now. Name on the list at 9:45 and Got seated at 12:30. I left around 4:30. There was still over 100 on the 1/2 list. It was very unorganized when it started. They didn't have enough dealers to start. A bunch of empty tables but no dealers in the morning

Hi, researching this casino for tournaments--from looking at their schedule, it seems like they run lower stakes ones, with the highest being $250 or so--do they periodically run series with higher buyins? Or more generally, do they ever run higher stuff? Thanks

Quick casino-specific rules question: when 2 players make it to showdown, which player has to show his hole cards first? In AC its the player that was last to bet, in some other casinos its the player that was last to act, or even something to do with proximity to button. TIA.

It's the aggressor. The person who bets not calls

I think the question is worded poorly. I believe you mean if someone bets on the flop or turn and river checks though, who shows 1st? Is this what you mean?

I'm not sure about Parx in particular, but around this region the standard rule is generally last aggressor. If there is no action on the river, first to act is supposed to show first.

At Parx, the person closest to the button shows first if the river checks around. So SB would show first.

At Borgata, the last aggressor goes first, even if the aggressor was on a previous street and the river checked around.

Most other locales use the Parx rule (by position) in my experience. This includes Vegas and California. But there are certainly other non-AC rooms that go by last aggressor as well. I think Foxwoods does it this way. Not sure what Sugarhouse and Chester do. Also not sure what FL and midwest rooms do generally.

In my experience at parx it's been the last aggressor. I've been at a table with 2 people in a hand and nobody wanted to show. The dealer told the guy to show first since he was the aggressor. But tbh who cares. If you have a hand just flip them up

because people are generally very bad at poker, rarely know where they're at compared to their opponents and don't want to look foolish - especially if they're a reg
