Starts around Noon and yes, you can straddle from any position for any amount. Standard straddle is 20 or 25 though.

Why does event 1a and 1b have different addon sizes? Now that Jimmy is gone, how are the addons divided amongst the dealers and management? Will there also be a percentage of the prizepool withheld for the same thing as the addon?

We have a Omaha 8 game every day. $100 - $300 buy in. Pot Limit Omaha high low. The blinds are $1 and $2 with the bring in at $5 or higher.

yeah and that sucks, no one whose used to $1-2 NLHE wants to have to pay $3 extra in their unraised BB to be able to see the flop, why do so many PLO games always do this nonsense??

i think its because its all a bunch of rich guys trying to raise the stakes, when the game is plenty high as it is, due to all the extra variance. this rule really, really, hurts those with almost no bankroll, and dont give them a chance to slowly grind up in limits.

and it really goes everyday? hard to believe

Because 1/2 without a $5 straddle or bring-in plays smaller than 1/2nl. When was the last time you saw someone raise to $7 pre-flop in 1/2nl? It also makes dealing the game much easier as you go in multiples of $5 instead of $2 and $3.

Get a free players card at the big kiosk just outside the poker room. Free entry with it.

It you didn't make it a $5 bring in and allowed people to bet any amount instead of $5 increments, the game would be incredibly difficult to deal. Hands wold take way, way longer and the game would not be fun to play at all.

1 2 plo game will always play bigger then a 1 2 nl game

I requested a list to post on here, but I'm pretty sure they'll match similar buy-in events from the PBKC Winter Classic and the WSOPc. We'll get that info on here by the end of this week tho. Sry for the delay.

Thanks,
TTJ

We are getting pretty excited about the May event. We've corrected the scheduling issues before the ad in CardPlayer, so hopefully everybody will show up for the tournament they want to play!

We've been giving away tickets to all the events with every high-hand promo award this month, and we've got quite a few left to give. If you haven't heard, quad 2's all the way up to the 4 Royals have a different value that rolls over twice a day if it's not hit. If you get one of these hands you can also pick a ticket for one of the May events at random.

Thanks,
TTJ

2-4 limit.

Only because know one wants to play any bigger. All the people that would play a 5-10 limit or a 10-20 limit are playing no-limit.

Those 2 series had VASTLY different blind structures for $300-500 BIs:

WSOP (30min --> 40min)
25/25
25/50
50/75
50/100
75/150***
100/200
100/200/25a
150/300/25
200/400/50
250/500/50***
300/600/75
400/800/100
Inc in blind length
500/1k/100
600/1.2k/100
700/1.4k/200
800/1.6k/200
1k/2k/300
1.2k/2.4k/400***
1.5k/3k/500
2k/4k/500
2.5k/5k/500***
3k/6k/1k
4k/8k/1k
5k/10k/1k***
6k/12k/2k
8k/16k/3k
10k/20k/3k
12k/24k/4k***
15k/30k/4k
20k/40k/5k
25k/50k/5k***

All the bolded levels and antes are omitted from your PBKC structures. I've starred all the really important levels that makes your tournaments complete crapshoots compared to the higher quality product served at the Isle or HHR (WSOPc aside). PLZ PLZ PLZ consider adding these levels, you already have us at only 30 min levels for a "main event." I played the xmas series and went deep in the 1k and the avg stack was 13 big blinds deep into the money. When we have tens of thousands of $$ on the line in every decision we make I think we deserve just a little bit of play. Please amend all the atrocious errors Jimmy Sommerfield made as far as the tournaments in PBKC are concerned and I promise your tournament room will actually be relevant outside of the month of February.

Looks like we have the structure sheets made up for the coming event. I'm checking into getting that info posted on the website so I can link it, but the $250,000 Guarantee event features 30 min blind levels for the first 12 levels, with breaks after every 4 levels. Then levels go to 40 min, 50 min and eventually 60 mins through the event. It starts at 25-25 and advances much as listed in the above structure posted by NeVerMuK. I'm not sure if it's exactly the same, but I'll get the link on here asap.

Thanks,
TTJ

Is this running every day? What time does it usually start, and when does it usually break?
